Excellent design, qood quality and well worth the money. The design enables them to accomodate various wall scenarios, baseboard, stair railing, doorways, etc. I purchased 4 of them and they work great.

I have been climbing over baby gates for years. I use them to section off spaces to keep my dogs separated or out of certain spaces that I do not want them in. This item takes a little concentration and patience to put together but the result is AMAZING!! Once installed it is very secure. My 80 pound German Shepherd‘s cannot push it over if they jump on it. Because of the vertical design of the bars they also cannot climb. I have not noticed any damage to the walls from the pressure screws that hold it in place. The latch to open and close the gate is secure as long as you have the gate positioned correctly and the screws tight enough to the wall. I do own another gate in this style that simply has a trigger thumb latch that you pull to open but this one you have to pull the trigger thumb latch and slightly lift the gate. So that gives a double protection against smart toddlers! I’m actually ordering another one today! Well worth the money!

This is one of my favorite baby gates. Its solid construction makes it sturdy and the beautiful matte finish blends in seamlessly with my stair railing and balusters. It stays open when you push it all the way, making it easy for taking out recycling or packing the car in multiple trips, yet closes automatically if you dont push it quite 90 degrees. Planning to buy another for my home! Only complaint is that they dont seem to make a version with a cat door, so my poor cat has to either jump over it or squeeze between the bars.

This is a very sturdy baby gate we installed at the top of a staircase to protect our year-old granddaughter who was visiting for Christmas. The gate latch was very easy to open so adults to pass through, but very effective at keeping the baby out. We used the pressure mounting (and its very secure), but it also came with hardware to fix it to the walls. And the black finish was very attractive in our home.

The first gate we bought was much cheaper and it was a nightmare! We followed the directions exactly and after 2-1/2 hours and it not lining up properly , threw the parts back in the box and returned it. We had purchased the gate for our stairs from Cumbor and it was great and so ordered this one for our doorway. Amazing! The directions were clear, easy to follow and the gate was up in less than 20 minutes. It’s a quality product and even though it was more expensive, it was totally worth it. It really is true that you get what you pay for!

Simple enough to install, but when extended to the end not very sturdy.

We put this gate up between our kitchen and den so there is a lot of traffic. The gate swings in both directions and if you want to leave it open you can push it open and it clicks in a spot to keep it open. Easy to close after that. Seems very sturdy and looks nice.

This is such a sturdy gate and the functionality is top notch. I love that I can make it stay open if I want, its great for in the morning when Im carrying her from my room to outside. (We leave it open all night) And then in all other cases it closes automatically. That has saved us quite a few puppy chases lol.
