> 24 hourThe edges of these kitchen sink strainers are NOT sharp (like those you buy at grocery stores--which we had). So there is no risk of slicing finger tips! The strainer is broad so that youll catch debris but it wont stop the flow of water draining away. I have one in my regular sink drain and one with the garbage disposal (dont want things falling inside accidentally that can damage the garbage disposal when turned on). All in all, these are perfect sink drain strainers and am really happy I chose them.

> 24 hourLove these as drain covers in kitchen and bathroom, in kitchen use with bowl down to collect food and in bathroom sinks and tub use with bowl up to block hair and prevent any type of bugs from entering through the drains.

> 24 hourSturdy. No rust yet (as opposed to the wire mesh type strainers).

> 24 hourI have 3 kids that do dishes as part of chores, we have had so many issues with food down both sides of sink (one with garbage disposal)! But these are prefect! They sit down in the sink which helps a lot in itself, and the holes on them are perfect for not letting really anything but liquid through! Have only had them for a little bit of time but seem durable and not flimsy like mesh alternatives! Also completely stainless steel so no build up around any rubber.

> 24 hourThey look good, and they work great. I had been using some pretty disgusting plastic sink strainers, which I should have tossed years ago. Im glad I bought these.

> 24 hourThese strainers are one of those small, seeming insignificant items that are much appreciated for the important job they do keeping a sink, drains and septic as clean and free of waste fragments as possible. I have a septic system so I try to be careful about food particles, debris from watering plants, etc. going down my kitchen drains. Ive been buying light weight, flimsy wire strainers. Thats all Ive ever been able to find locally and they get dirty and bent so require constant replacing. These old strainers were difficult to keep clean without brushing the wire mesh too free them of stuck particles. The plastic rims would often act as a plug and hinder water from freely draining. Very annoying. So far, I am impressed by these strainers, easy to clean and do not hinder the flow of water from the sink; however, I havent had them long enough to say how they will stand the test of time. At this point I would definitely buy again.
