> 3 dayBought this to make five-sided boxes to keep gophers away from the roots of newly-planted trees. How long the stainless will last though is an unknown. Some types of stainless (like 316) last forever, while some grades of 304 can and will rust... especially where welded, which this is, so only time will tell.

> 3 dayI purchased this product which was significantly more expensive than other hardware fabric material because it stated stainless steel and no galvanization which contains lead which can potentially leach out into the soil and get into the vegetables and into myself and my family. Not until I unpacked the material I saw the small print. Should have listened to Joan Baez and taken the birds and bees, please.

> 3 dayIts hard to find stainless mesh like this and as such the price is reasonable enough. I used it in a worm bin as the galvanized stuff kept corroding. Its good quality and doesnt get bent out of shape.

> 3 dayI finally did away with the galvanized hardware cloth Ive been using for years- this is reasonably priced and looks good. I was able to redo two cages. Cut edges are sharp- use gloves and keep a box of band-aids handy. A diamond file works well for deburring the edges.

> 3 dayAfter looking at a bunch of options typically plastic, I figured Id try this. Wow, simple to set up, sturdy, easy to break down, and works great. Look at the temp, almost 160F! I just opened it up to pull it off the pile, redid the two ties holding it together and refilled it to get some mixing and aeration. Just took 15 minutes. The only issue is the ends are sharp. I filed them a bit, but they can still catch your clothes or scratch if youre not careful. Still, I see this lasting a long time. If it starts to rust or break down, Ill revise the review, but I have to think stainless steel will hold up pretty well.
