MyInvoices & Estimates Deluxe

The older version back around 2003 is better than this, but the Reports are no longer working probably because of the newer operating systems these days. But, at least it worked with everything else I needed it for and was easy to perform tasks. This new 10th anniversary version has all sorts of problems. Sure, when I go to design my own invoice I can add my logo but when I try to insert my company name, every single time I click outside the box it disappears, and there was no visible way to prevent that from happening so I couldnt even accomplish that task. Another big peeve; they blather about how you can download all these different invoice templates, but when I tried to do that, the error (pictured) is what I received, every single time. So I called their support up, and unbelievable...they wouldnt even help me resolve that issue without paying them a $9.00 fee, even though I just bought the software the day before! Talk about a scam! Oh gee yeah they come out with buggy software so they can charge YOU to fix it??? Thats ridiculous. They may claim that this is the #1 best selling invoice software, but thats because its cheap and doesnt work right. The 18-year old version I have worked better than this piece of junk so I went back to that version and Im sending this worthless software back.

I had version 4, I love the look of version 10. Sure there are new features, but I cant customize certain things the way I did in version 4. Version 10 is better overrall. Bottom line need to read the book on all features. Great Product will recommend this to all Small businesses.

I purchased an open box item at a discount price that contained software without a key code for installation. This purchase was not useful to me. I received a full refund from seller. Goes to show, if it sounds too good to be true...it usually isnt true.

Can not install on my Windows 10 system. After several attempts the download codes do not work. What is ore confusing is there are multiple codes to enter and it is not clear which code is correct. Also there is no phone support without paying $9.99 and up. Returned for a refund USELESS Software.

Easy to set up. Still trying to figure out how to customize from a selected template.

CANT PRINT BLACK & WHITE INVOICES AND NO TECH SUPPORT

I have been using this program since its release, 96 or so, And have loved it. Have made over 10K invoices. Version 10.0 is absolute trash. If you have never used this product you wont know what your missing. But if you have, version 9.0 and under, then you know exactly what i am talking about. Ive tried to contact Avanquest, no dice. Ask them What happened to the invoice register from all the previous versions? what happened to selecting multiple invoices in this now forgotten register, for printing, emailing, deleting or any function. Sometimes newer isnt better and in this case its ALOT worse. If you run a business with multiple customers that use several accounts and often request invoice histories and copies, STAY AWAY from this program. Get 9.0 instead. The lack of a seperate register, the functionality has been crippled. To the reviewer who bought this for her husband. Wait until your husband has several thousand invoices and everytime you select the invoice tab it has to load those invoices into the window on the left. Tell us how he likes it then. Why they didnt put hide paid invoices as default is beyond me. Rant off... Youve been warned. im going back to either 9.0 or Ill start using my quickbooks invoicing instead. lets see how this company stands behind their money back gaurentee

I received it packaged well. They have departed from ease of use. Im some what dissapointed in how complicated it has become. Ive used the 2000 version for many years and liked it.

I have used MyInvoices and Estimates for over 10 years. Much earlier versions were simple and easy to work (why I continued to upgrade). This newest version 10 deluxe (which I use) is a disaster in waiting. The program, once installed and if working properly, is great and appears to be doing what it was intended. However, as time progresses and your database fills, problems will inevitably develop hidden without your knowledge waiting for that time you need to run a report for the boss or extract specific data. Then, out of nowhere comes the dreaded unhandled exception has occurred . Good luck trying to fix the issue. The program is so complex, because it does so much, that trying to fix a problem is virtually impossible. So now you have thousands of records in your database, this database somehow gets corrupted. HOW? Avanquest did not write in any diagnostics to aid or assist if anything is amiss or even let you know with a warning when backing up that something might be wrong with the file. They have not upgraded or offered any patch for the past 2 years I have owned this deluxe version. I would not recommend this program.
