> 24 hourMy wife and I own a couple of these neck fans. This one has a better design that the others in many respects. The fan blades are hidden so it’s a bit safer than getting your hair snagged. (I don’t have long hair but my wife does) This fan also has “channels” that direct some of the air around your neck. It’s also quite solidly built, albeit with plastic construction. Battery life is pretty good, I just haven’t attempted to max it out. The only downsides are that it IS a bit bulky and the airflow is not adjustable. The cheaper fans allow you to bend the fans in a lot of different directions but that comes at the expense of them being kind of fragile. Overall this is a good neck fan especially for those with long hair.

> 24 hourthis unit just fit the bill. I purchased this for an outdoor wedding and even though it was rained out , I was able to test it and it was just what the doctor ordered, literally. I am a cancer patient and this was a concern if I was to be setting for any length of time in the sun and or heat of the day. It was perfect.

> 24 hourI wasnt sure how much cooling this neck band would provide but I was very pleasantly surprised just how much air flow is pushed out of this USB-C charged Kidee Neck Fan. After charging this fan from a regular USB charger I slipped it over my neck, with the slots along the periphery facing up and pressed the on/speed button. Air started flowing up from the slots and out from the perforated end plates providing a modicum of cooling. Each press of the button increased the fan to 2 other, faster speeds with the air flow from the fastest speed being pretty impressive. As a test I brought it outside with me into a typically hot, sunny, Florida mid-day around the pool and even then the air being pushed out of the fan was cooling. Several people asked what that thing around my neck was and then wanted to try it out - each of them were pretty surprised at just how much cooling power it provided even under those conditions. Why then did I only give it 4 stars? Because there is no cover for the USB-C port which could allow moisture into the electronics - I consider the failure to provide even a simple rubber closure for this port to be a design flaw. Plus, I have to admit that the amount of noise from the fan can be distracting. However, even with these two simple flaws I think that the Kidee Neck Fan is something that is worthy of your purchase dollars.

> 24 hourI like how this device is just for me. I can be out working in the yard and not have to worry about wishing for a breeze. This things moves some serious air. It actually blows my hair around since my hair is short. I like that it is rechargeable so I dont have to keep buying batteries.

Consumer Outlook
> 24 hourDue to hot flashes, my wife is obsessed with neck fans, so I’ve had the opportunity to review several types and brands. What makes this one by KIDEE stand apart from the others is the large vent openings. The air comes out of them very well. There are even vents in the back. On most fans that have back vents, the air comes out more softly than on the sides (which makes sense since the fans are at the front). While that’s also true with this KIDEE fan, I find more air travels through better than others I’ve tried because there are only four holes rather than a bunch. This fan is powerful. The top speed is stronger than the JISULIFE Portable Neck Fan (ASIN: B08DNJV7RZ) I have. There is plenty of strength to cool you down quickly. As far as weight goes, it’s slightly on the heavy side, but not too heavy. For comparison, I weighed these fans and listed them in order of heaviest: Kternay 293 grams (ASIN: B0BRHF43FF) KIDEE 273 grams (ASIN: B0BMT6N89X) JISULIFE 257 grams (ASIN: B08DNJV7RZ) SWEETFULL 249 grams (ASIN: B0BMDT6QZS) As you can see, this KIDEE is toward the top at 273 grams, but still less than the Kternay at 293 grams. Personally, I don’t find it to be too heavy, but some people might. It’s a bit on the bulky side too, but not nearly as bulky as the Kternay. The main area of bulk is at the tips where the fans are rather than the neck, so it doesnt make it feel uncomfortable. In conclusion: this is my favorite fan of all the ones I own. I’ve confiscated it from my wife to be my personal fan. I love the way it looks with the green and gold, plus the overall build feels of high quality. It’s comfortable around my neck and offers plenty of power to cool me down. I also like that it uses the newer USB-C cable for charging. Highly recommend!

> 24 hourThis fan is surprisingly effective, and I am seriously thinking of getting another one. It is light weight and sits right on your shoulders. The fan blows at three speeds and the air blows right up the sides of your face and neck. This works great and keeps me cool working in the garage and even outside. Depending on the outside temperature you can expect cooler or warmer air but anyone that lives in a very hot and humid climate probably agrees that any air is good air. The batteries last a long time, and the USB charger makes this fan even better.
