I honestly thought this KIDEE Neck Fan was going to be just another gimmicky item. But I also thought for the price Id give it a go since I will try anything to help keep me cool. I have MS and getting too overheated means feeling like youve just come off a 3-day long bender and it can take a while to recover. I do not have central air. My AC is not yet installed since at this time of year it is usually only in the 60s and doesnt usually get too hot until the end of June or beginning of July. Mother Nature is having some fun with me. It was 90 degrees outside, with a lot of humidity in the air. I decided rather than cooking inside for the family, Id go outside and grill some burgers and potatoes. Yep, I was hot. I was starting to feel like crap and had an attitude to match it. Then I remembered the neck fan that I left on the charger. I truly wasnt expecting much. Wow was I wrong. The fan gives a nice breeze on low. It runs fairly quiet. I can hear everything over it. Then I kicked it up to medium. Quite a bit of a breeze. Louder, but I can still hear most things. Kicked it up to high. A lot of breeze and it really works! I did cool down quite a bit. The sound is in no way loud enough to hurt my ears, but I cant hear most things on high. Im thinking of wearing this a lot, and on high speed, when the teens are home. Hot or not. Just to tune out all the noise. This is like pure bliss...lol I gave it to my kids to try and they both had no problems hearing even on high speed. Obviously, the difference between old and young ears. Im not sure how long the charge lasts, but I can say I had this on high for at least an hour when I was cooking and have used it on low a few times after that for short periods and it still going. So glad I did not buy the hand fan.

I picked this up on-a-whim, and Ill be first to admit- it works a lot better than I expected at cooling you off. The pink color isnt flattering on a man, but at my age, who cares! Im a size 16.5, and it still fits comfortably around my neck. A majority of the air exits along the sides, nearest your ears- which is probably best, but I [do] kinda wish more airflow made it to the rear-most portion of the band. I havent had much opportunity to use it- given the season, but the couple times I have [used it] I was pleasantly surprised. Battery life seems really good. Ive not had reason to charge it yet, so Im not sure exactly how long it would run continuously.

Imagine sweltering, hot churches. Watch as the old ladies fan themselves with paper fans attached to popsicle sticks. Now, enter the future; see those same women wearing neck fans. Thats where were at. Sometimes I question the need for or usefulness of new inventions. The neck fan is one of those inventions. However, being a resident of Florida, I decided to give KIDEE Bladeless Neck Fan a try. The verdict: A neck fan is a product I never knew I needed. It truly does a job keeping you cool from the neck up. By extension, you feel cool overall; in other words, you gain a perception of coolness just by having your neck and face fanned. I take long walks in the summer, and even now in the winter, Florida gets hot. But, with KIDEE Bladeless Neck Fan, I feel relief.

I do pop up vendor events and this has been great to wear. Im outside in the heat for hours, in parking lots or parks. The fan on this is super quiet on low and slightly noticable on medium, and high is too loud for me to have a conversation with out being distracted by the fans noise. I dont even notice the hum of the fan going on low and forget Im wearing it but lowlve the breeze it offers. it has vents that wrap around towards the back sides so it blows the back sides of your neck also and gets up under your hair. I havnt had it suck in any of my long hair. The front inside section near the chest is were is sucks air in and it has very small, round vent holes so it would be hard for anything to get sucked in. I havnt had any problems with my hair getting caught in it. The charge lasts me all day at my events on the low setting. Its a very nice neck fan and it looks really nice also. I have had my customers ask about it and try it on and love it. So it would make a great gift for anyone who works or plays outside in the summer also.

Works somewhat cools you off a little

Neck Fan is amazing. it had 3 speeds and cools you off almost instantly. A great buy for those hot muggy days when you want to find extra relief from the heat. It is very comfortable to wear, easy to put on and convenient that it charges with a USB plug no batteries . I plan on using it this summer then I mow the lawn and when I go boating.

The only thing that is not great it that it makes your neck sweaty and it kinda heavy.
