> 3 dayMy male cat likes sharing everything with my female cat (siblings), especially the water. He took to this bowl immediately, and he loves it. I like the fact that is has water measurements, it makes it easy to see how much he has or has not consumed. Its a great size and the fact that it is ceramic is a plus. I also ordered the tray that goes under both the food and water bowls. This is great because it has a slight indentation for both the bowls and catches any over spill. Both of my babies have the food bowl to which they both took immediately. I really like this company. Very good and careful prompt shipping.

> 3 dayIve always felt my kitties should not have to always stoop to drink their water and used a water cup by the sink. I did switch to a bowl and then recently saw this Necoichci bowl which is the best of both worlds. We left her water dish out and let her decide which one she wanted to use more. After a few days she started using the Necoichi bowl so we retired the other one.

> 3 dayI thought these raised bowls would be taller, but they are like a regular bowl with short pedestals. I like the quality of these bowls, its durable and easy to clean, it holds about 1.5 cups of water or more. The large sized raised cat/dog bowls are my favorite from this company. I wrote a review for those bowls. If you look at the picture here advertised, the cat has to crouch down to drink or eat. The purpose of having raised bowls is so the cat or dog can sit or stand comfortably while eating or drinking. If you have average size cats or dogs, I recommend the Classy Cat and Dog dishes sold here on Amazon, the height and dish size is perfect for taller animals. Classy Cat and Dog makes a 2.5 cup water bowl, that is perfect size and height. I bought the Classy Cat/Dog dishes for my cats, and I bought these Large raised Cat/Dog bowls for my doggies.

Greater than one weekThis is perfect for water, especially when you want to gauge how much your pet is drinking. Very cute. I dropped the first one I bought and immediately ordered another.

> 3 dayI bought this for my kitty who is ill and I wanted her to not have to hunch over to drink. This raised bowl came very nicely packaged and I feel is high quality. And it’s cute! I like the measurements to monitor intake and the silicone around bottom of the base makes it non slip. This is balanced well and hasn’t tipped at all. My kitty likes it. I bought the large version and definitely recommend that for adult kitties.

Greater than one weekThis is a lovely bowl, well made and well finished on all sides, but if your purpose for getting it is to have a raised cat bowl, I don’t think it’s quite high enough. The Necoichi line are only raised a few inches, but really should be raised 4+ inches if the purpose is to have the cat’s head above the stomach. It’s better than flat on the ground I suppose. You can see the comparison in the picture to the Premium Raised Bowl, which is about 6 inches high (the cats in the picture are 5 month old kittens). I think this is a fine height for water but would want the food bowls to be higher off the ground.

Greater than one weekWe have several Necoichi bowls now. The cats like them all. I cant say that having elevated food and water bowls has cut down the vomiting one of them does, nor has it magically stopped the other from sticking his paw in the water and flicking water around the room. But theyre nice sturdy, attractive bowls I recommend (always good to find ceramics not glazed with lead). I just wish this company would have put drainage holes in the bottom stand because its gross to open the dishwasher and find a half cup of foul-looking water collected in the inverted base. I always wind up hand washing again after that, not just the bowl but whatever dishes the water sloshed on while I was getting out the bowl.
