I ordered two, one I only received the package and the other had damaged packaging and wasn’t put together correctly. I had to disassemble it and flip an internal shim before it would punch.

For as long as I can remember, Ive been using a solid centering punch (with hammer), complete with slightly off-center tip. It worked, but with the precision of a sledgehammer. I never knew what I was missing out on with an automatic punch like the Neiko! You can use both hands (if necessary) to center things much better, and the spring-loaded action works great to apply the punch with no rebound slippage like you tend to get with a hammer.

I have not used these yet but they are highly recommended by a couple of people. I thought when I got them that they felt a little heavy and it is a little difficult getting them in and out of the stand. They do not have the sizes marked anywhere on them or the stand. I was at Michaels yesterday and met another woman who was looking at the same stuff as I was. I told her I was looking at stuff for dotting and she said me too!! She said it is so much fun and I find it very relaxing. I love it! I asked her what tools she was using and she said she was using a punch set and that they were very good and she loved using them.

Cheap quality, aint made for punching steel and stainless steel. flatten the point after one hit

Needed to stake/pin my castle nut on an AR15 and it worked as advertised. I was really worried that I would botch up the job but it worked.

Weak spring. Has very little power. Its not a well design product.

Why my puncher doesnt have the neiko logo on it? It is not a original Neiko tool?
