Received it with a broken sliding clip already, there things seem like they will break easy, but luckily they come with an extra one. If not, I would be returning the whole unit. Let’s see how long this will last.

I do quite a bit of personal automotive work in my garage and needed a light for under the hood of my vehicles. This thing provides plenty of light, decent battery life, and can be used while its plugged in providing continuous light. This light is a game changer for under hood work.

Very happy with my purchase. I had bought 3 different lights and returned everyone till i found the neiko brand.

We use these at our car detailing business. We use them inside the vehicle. The light is just a tiny bit too long for some of the compact cars. The end hooks are made of metal and bend easily to grip when it’s too short. They are clearly not intended to bend. I bought 2 of these for my shop. Both have busted in one month. I am going to try my luck returning them. Nice light. Terrible hook design.

I guess the old saying is correct, you get what you pay for. Ordered this light from Amazon Warehouse Deals. Description stated, used - like new. When product arrived light and under hood bracket were in the box along with the instruction page. However the brackets to mount the light bar to the under hood bracket nor the magnetic clips were in the box. That is not a big deal, I think I can rig something up to mount the light to the under hood bracket. The biggest issue is THERE IS NO BATTERY CHARGER IN THE BOX!!! Light is partially charged now and seems to be plenty bright but that will not last forever. Come on Amazon. If somebody returns something please verify all parts are in the box before you resell it. I think I will keep it and see if I can source an inexpensive option for charging it.

This light seems very well built and is plenty bright for the interior detailing I do.

Im a mechanic/collision tech for heavy duty trucks like rigs, buses and RVs. At home I do all my own mechanic work and restore classics as a hobby. This light is incredibly bright, one is enough for under hood work, but in sleepers I use 2 plus an additional spot light. So it works well as both an ambient light source and for more precise work as well. My only issue with these is that the battery life is somewhat spotty. 1 light will work at its most powerful setting for up to 5 hours, while the other will not last more than 90 minutes on a full charge. The one I keep at home works well for a few hours then goes out. I dont know if its a battery defect or what, its not the charger as I have switched out chargers between all 3 will the same results. Id buy them again if needed though, the price is right and it puts out enough light that the short battery life on the one isnt all that big of an issue. Well worth it.
