I received these in exchange for this review. I occasionally work with epoxy/resin in my crafts. In the past, since the stuff is pretty much impossible to remove from things like brushes and mixing sticks of a more traditional form, I usually had to plan to simply toss these tools out after the craft was coated. These tools are made from silicone, however, and as such can be wiped clean with disposable towels and be reused. I have also been able to peel off anything I didnt wipe off fully, leaving the item as good as new.

These sticks don’t work for every application as they’re much thicker than standard wooden stir sticks, but they’re great for mixing resin. I haven’t don’t much with the brushes yet but they seem to work fine as well. Once again, they’re not for fine applications.

Great mixing sticks and brushes to help level out resin! I highly recommend steering away from using wooden popsicle sticks to help prevent bubbles when mixing resin. I like these silicone sticks but they are a bit small if your mixing a larger amount of resin. It comes with 5 different sticks so you can mix multiple different colors at once without having to wipe off each everytime!

I really like that these are reusable and cut down on some of the waste when using epoxy. I have been making epoxy tumblers for around 6 months and have been through hundreds or stirrers. It just feels very wasteful. I have been exploring reusable options and decided to try these. The silicone brushes work great. I use them for getting water from under the water slide and also use them for manipulating the epoxy while it’s on the tumbler. It has a lot of uses, but only the end is silicone. The handle is plastic and epoxy will harden to it. If you happen to get some epoxy on there you can use baby wipes to wipe it clean before it starts to set. It also works for the stir sticks. The stir sticks are silicone and have given to them. They are better with a lot of epoxy that can easily peel off or no epoxy (wiped down). I normally would just use the side of the cup to remove the excess epoxy off the stir stick, but it dries thin and in small dots and is hard to get off. You almost have to scrape it off. I have found it is better to wipe it before the epoxy starts to harden. It takes some getting used to, but I think it’s a much better option. They wipe off easily and I do recommend them.

I use these for mixing and spreading resin for art projects. About the sticks...they are ok for smaller jobs but are not long enough to mix a 16-18 oz size job. Caution when using on the smaller jobs if your cups are too small they will tip over with all your paint and resin from the weight of the stick. I prefer wooden craft sticks but Im trying to save a tree by using these. Also the resin tends to separate out on the silicone as it dries. So your picking little drops and globs off which takes time. They have to be perfectly clean for each project or else the resin and paint will pull the old stuff off. Then Im scurrying to pick the globs out with a toothpick before my resin starts to set up. The spreaders are nice, however, the metal wrap that attaches it to the handle does not release the resin. So for my projects I have to be careful to not get the resin up on the metal band. But I did like that these keep my hands from getting so messy. All in all they do what they are supposed to do.

They are what I was looking for. These are so easy to use and clean. Is an excellent option to stop wasting money on wood sticks that can be only used once.

Love these stirring sticks! I’d gotten some before from somewhere else but they were super flimsy. I’d been using popsicle sticks ever since but then I found these. They are perfect for mixing resin and avoiding bubbles!
