I have played the fire out of Mario Party in the past on Gamecube and Wii. Those games had a lot to offer in fun and content. First, this game is terribly lacking content. Only 4 boards total to play with your friends. Second, the mini games are not as fun and interactive. When you do go to play online, you can only play mini games against other players. As of today, the online is dead. Third, not enough other content to actually have fun or write home about. Nintendo really needs to update this game and add more boards and new mini games and give us the $60 bucks we deserve worth of content. At a minimum, there should have been 8 boards to play. At least I can still have an excuse to play with the family during Covid home orders.

Good game overall, river raft is kinda fun. Will get extremely repetitive and mini games arent amazing as a solo player so dont buy this if you dont have friends to play with. Youll also need switch joycons to add more local players - alternative controllers wont work for multiplayer which is a shame. Great party game all around and fun for a couple of hours. Standout animation quality smoother than a butter knife. 9/10 with friends, 5/10 without.

Used to have this game on the Nintendo Wii. Been waiting for the Switch release for too long. My son 6yr old son loves it and always insists the whole family play. You will not get and peace if you buy this, this is much better when you have more than one player.
