I love this stand. I had some issues with the first one I purchased, but this company is amazing and made sure to correct the issue very quickly. Will continue purchasing from this brand. :) Ive found it very hard to find companies that make good quality hamster items, but this company exceeds my expectations. I have a very happy hammy thanks to them!

It’s too tall for a standard 40 gallon breeder tank. I might need to cut off 2 or 3 inches or build a different mesh lid.

The legs keep falling out... I had to use hot glue to keep it in. the wheel fits but it cant be used if you dont have anything to keep the stilts in

Legs wouldnt stay on and dowels broke. Had to return item and replacement.

Used this to seperate my gerbils water and sand bath from their bedding. It works, but I am looking for something slightly taller, since they kick bedding into their water on this pretty easily. The corner of the lip can be difficult to clean, but as long as its baked/boiled afterwards you can still be sure its sanitized since its wood.

The wheel fits perfectly on the wheel stand. But the attachable legs dont fit securely on the leg stubs hence falling right out when holding it up in the air and the legs being very unstable and falling out when placed in the cage on top of loose uneven bedding. I fixed this issue by gluing the legs onto the platform permanently. Now its completely fine since the legs are stuck in place. Another thing I thought couldve been better is that the platform is thicker than other Niteangel platforms, which made it impossible to use the Niteangel ladder on this wheel platform. I wanted to connect the ladder directly to the wheel but the opening on the ladder was not wide enough to be secured at the edge of the platform. I wouldnt consider this a flaw or a big issue, but just thought it wouldve been perfect if it did fit. Otherwise, it does the job once the legs are glued in place!

The front ridge broke off at both corners. Seemed like it was possibly a product defect because it was wobbly and the legs were in all the way.

DISCLAIMER: YOU NEED TO PUT A LAYER OF TAPE OR GLUE SOME OF THE PEGS TO MAKE THEM STABLE. This is stated in the directions and it bugs me how so many people are taking off stars because they didnt read the packet. Anyway, I bought this for my roborovski hamster, Matt, as a Christmas present. Be aware that if you have a medium sized wheel or larger, it will not fit in a standard 40 gallon tank. However, since I have a small wheel (8 inch Niteangel wheel), it fits just fine if you adjust the wheel height. If you bought the wrong stand or don’t have a Niteangel wheel, it also makes a very nice platform for water, a hideout, etc. if you put it on level with the bedding or have a ladder going up (as shown). Assembly was easy; all you had to do was put the dowels on the base, and if one was loose, you put a piece of tape (also included) on it and try again. Only two of the legs on mine were loose and now they are sturdy. They will be difficult to remove. The base is also finished which is nice so I don’t have to worry about water being trapped. Overall, this is a very nice product, but it is very tall, so make sure you add 3 inches to your wheel height. If it’s too big, you can just use it as a platform, which is perfectly fine too.

This stand is perfect for stabilizing your wheel in your cage so your Hamster can safely burrow under your wheel and keeps it from tipping or hurting your hamster

Hamsters need room to explore, and most habitats are TOO SMALL if you’re just considering the square inches of the bottom area (even the large traditional cages), so it’s important to build up, up, up, and have as many levels as possible, and ideally some/many of these levels should be underground for tunneling/burrowing. This platform allows room below it for bedding/tunneling/tubing and my dwarf hamster loves all of the additional area to move and explore, while also having access to his wheel on top of it.
