08-06-2025Quiet and efficient is why you spend the extra few dollars on Noctua fans. Yeah, the colors are ugly but thats the way they make em. If you can overlook that shortcoming you will be getting one of the best fans on the market.

> 3 dayIt works, its quiet and I love them. The color is ugly, but I didnt buy it for looks. With the same RPMs as my stock fans on the Thermaltake cooler, you can definitely hear the difference and Im getting the same cooling.

> 3 dayBeen a fan of noctua for years, for a new rig that I build using the new 8700 Intel core noticed that was getting hot easily and the stocks fan for the Corsair case were making too much noise. Ordered 4 of these to replace all the fans and now is so quiet and dont have overheating issues also.

Greater than one weekThese fans are quiet as heck. If youre building a quiet system or are looking for fans that will last forever, these are worth the extra money. Ive got a windowed case and the brown/tan scheme doesnt match at all. You can definitely tell these are Noctua, haha. Ive heard theyre coming out with black fans which would be nice. Its not worth the effort to change out everything. Love them!
The NF-A14 is a premium quality quiet 140mm fan with a square frame that complies with Noctua’s AAO(Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) standard. Its square shape and 140mm mounting holes (124.5mm spacing) make it ideal for use on watercooling radiators or as an upgrade for 140mm case fans. The PWM version sports Noctua’s custom designed NE-FD1 IC for fully automatic speed control via 4-pin fan headers and comes with a Low-Noise-Adaptor to reduce the maximum speed during PWM control from 1500rpm to 1200rpm.
