> 24 hourVery quiet, cant really tell when my computer is off or on. I had read that for quiet, you would sacrifice power. Not with the Noctua, it was quite powerful and quiet. Initially it did not feel like airflow was as powerful as the noisy trailer fan I just removed but it did the job, goes to show you dont need a trailer fan, just an efficient fan. And I have a powerhouse of a system or to keep it this quiet is quite a feat.

> 24 hourIt arrived quickly, it fit properly and easily, has three speeds using the supplied resistors and is quiet on the fastest speed. Everything that is was made to do, it does well.

> 24 hourExpensive but worth it if you need small, silent, high performance case fans. I have 2 installed in my SilverStone mATX FT03B

> 24 hourI purchased the Noctua NF-A8 FLX 80mm fans to replace the stock fans in my Synology NAS box in order to achieve higher air-flow and quieter cooling for the always-on NAS box. I am a veteran computer builder and technophile, however this was my first experience with the Noctua fans. I was extremely impressed right out of the box.

> 24 hourMy last 8$ 80 mm fan never worked right out of the box so fortunately that led me to step up to a Noctua. Great air movement and very quiet. Im using two of them to cool my 2.8 kw Outback inverter, which has a very loud internal cooling fan. I havent heard the inverter fan since, even under heavy loads. These Noctuas really keep thing cool. Ive seen a couple reviewers say theyre not quiet, I think these folks have got a screw loose somewhere. Beautiful packaging, info and accessories, RPM adaptors, extension cable, etc..

> 24 hourSwapped these into my servers rear exhaust fans. They push a tremendous amount of air compared to the originals and are almost silent. I didn’t install the resistors to cut fan rpm down as they were not needed for any reason. Packaging was excellent and included any accessory I could have needed which needs to be considered when people talk about the price. I’ve got loads of parts on my bench that came with Noctua fans that I dip into all the time. There is no substitute when you want something that’s gonna work far past it’s warranty date.
