> 24 hourMy observations about the Noctua NF-F12 PWM... Great quality. Quiet but not silent. Cools my gaming desktop better than cheap fans while running 300 rpm slower. ie, they push more air. The sound I do hear is much more pleasant than cheap fans ie, lower pitch. Noctua makes 3 and 4 pin in line wire adapters. available on Amazon that contain a resistor to slow the fans down about 300 rpm. Combined with a fan controller like the NZXT can really quiet your system. I will only use Noctua fans in any gaming desktops that I build in the future.

I had cheaper random rgb fans from Amazon and those were good but compared to these it is night and day. you lose rgb but you gain airflow and a more quiet fan. just test running these without my pc case sides on I actually got cold sitting in front of them. crazy amount of airflow and super quiet. some super nice touches that I absolutely love is that the fan cables are sleeved and the middle sticker is actually a metal plate not just a paper sticker. this fan has shown me the way of great pc fans. I dont think I can ever go back to rgb fans unless noctua makes them.

I chose the Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.Black for its static pressure rating to replace the fan on my ID-cooling 224 cooler. I wanted to see if it would make much better of a difference because the cooler as is works great and lowered my cpu temps. The NF-F12 installed easily and felt like a quality product. The black chromax looked good and the rubber bumpers matched my case. The fan did not disappoint because it lowered the cpu cooler temps another 3c. Quiet operation. Loved that they included a pwm extension. Well worth the money.

> 24 hourI bought 8 of these for the all black aesthetic but noctua doesn’t include enough black anti vibration pads for one fan. I ended up buying $26 more of anti vibration pads just so the fans would be all black. They should really include 8 black and 4 of the rest if you want to change the front color.
