> 3 dayThey are Noctuas. If you are looking at these fans, then you already know that Noctuas are pretty much the best PC fans money can buy. They are well known for their build quality, quiet operation, and poor aesthetics. I personally like how they look. They are unique in their own way.

> 3 dayThe only problem I had was trying to pull the rubber screws through the fan holes in a cramped space. I had better luck putting them in the fan first and then push the other side through the case. More color options would have been nice too, but I dont think they offer those in 3-pin models.

Greater than one weekTheyre not as quiet as I was led to believe from other online review sites, I can still hear the air wooshing when the fans are at 900rpm (using the L.N.A), but at the same time they make an agreeable sound that doesnt annoy me as my previous Cougar Vortex fans did with their higher pitched wooshing.

I was going to go for the newer (better looking) models but I thought that maybe when they were 100% focused on build quality and actual performance instead of pretty colors and all that jazz was most likely when they were producing their best work. Ive purchased 6 of these in total for a new build. Sound on these things is outstanding. Ill be running them at 100% power because at 100% theyre still noticeably quieter than my other case fans at 50% power. These are just the best fans that money can buy. Theres no other way to say it.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
