Greater than one weekNot the prettiest of fans but I’ve a closed case with no windows so I only care about performance and they don’t get any better when it comes to noise (lack of) and air flow performance. These are optimised for airflow so be careful if you need something more pressure optimised, i.e. for a rad or heatsink

> 3 dayNice and quiet on old Chillblast I5 machine easy to fit into existing holes with the new screws provided. Replaced stock case cooling fan which had become very noisy .Didnt use damper mounts as accessibility issues in case but quiet even though screwed in place. PWM 4 pins just slotted into Chan 1 fan slot on motherboard. (Asus P8Z77-V) Rebooted machine and it was detected and started up. Now Running at 750 rpm on 900 rpm low noise adapter cable provided.

Greater than one weekDopo aver acquistato ed in seguito visto allopera il mio dissipatore Noctua NH-U12S per tenere a bada il mio i7 4790K, ho ordinato due Nf-s12a pwm per montarle allinterno del mio case Corsair Vengeance C70. Ho voluto sostituire le 3 ventole Corsair che erano montate di serie nel case e che facevano molto rumore girando ad una velocità fissa di circa 800 rpm (vergognoso dopo aver pagato il case circa 140 euro). Le due ventole Noctua le ho disposte una in estrazione posteriormente e laltra in immissione sul pannello laterale. Entrambe le ventole sono state collegate utilizzando ladattatore a V presente in ognuna delle due confezioni e ho così potuto sfruttare un solo attacco a 4 pin della mia scheda madre Z97-K. In questo modo le ventole vengono gestite dal bios girando contemporaneamente alla stessa velocitá o volendo puó essere anche aumentata a proprio piacimento. Ho riservato il secondo attacco a 4 pin della mia scheda madre per altre due ventole che probabilmente installerò in seguito. Detto questo che nonostante ciò sia le due ventole che il dissipatore della cpu tutte e 3 di marca Noctua, lavorando ad un regime di rotazione inferiore ai 400 rpm, per quanto possano essere silenziose, sono comunque udibili, quindi non fatevi film a meno che non abbiate un case completamente sigillato/blindato.

Greater than one weekCompré dos de estos ventiladores y el cambio al instalarlos fue grandísimo. Casi no se notan y te tienes que acercar para oírlos, no me quiero ni imaginar si llego a ponerlos con las gomitas que te vienen para que suenen menos todavía. Me costó mucho ponerlas y desistí y lo instalé con tornillos, pero vamos que casi no suenan, son una maravilla. El precio es algo caro, pero vamos, lo volvería a pagar sin duda

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
