> 24 hourI just had a fan fail. It was one that came with the case. Sleeve bearings just suck. But, I had installed a Noctua with the CPU cooler, and its been cruising along nicely. So, Noctua was a natural brand choice to replace the cheap-ass sleeve-bearing fan that failed.

> 24 hourThese fans are quiet on their own, but to me at least they have a slight annoying hum at full speed. This is easily solved with the low noise adapters installed, but low noise means low RPM. Although I will admit even with the low low noise adapters installed, this fan seems to blow more air [slightly] than the 900RPM model. Also not a big deal if you install many of these fans in your computer case.

I got this fan for $13 and with its silent operation I can say it’s a great option for the price, classic Noctua. Colors leave a little to be desired, along with the ketchup and mustard cables, but at the end of the day performance is more important than appearance.

> 24 hourMy previous case fans had leds which looks nice but performed so badly. After replacing them with NF-S12Bs the noise has gone down and CPU temps have gone down. I paired these with the NH-U14S for optimal airflow and Im thoroughly pleased. Plus the simple color design actually makes everything look better compared to cheap led fans.

> 24 hourVERY quiet compared to my other fans, and the high flow blade design is a great option. It runs at reasonably high speeds, so its quietness is not created just by reducing the maximum speed. And its a reasonable price for a premium fan. I expect Ill stock up on these for my next build!
