> 3 daycheck the Noctua page to understand what motherboards it will fit with. Understand that this does not account for a vertical mount GPU in most situations.

> 3 dayAmazing cooling. Even on Intels hottest processor the12900KS it does a good job under full CPU load. Noise level is silent except when CPU cores are all going under heavy load. Then you can hear it faintly. I have never had one lock up on the system while running this heat sync.

> 3 dayTitle says it all. Cools my 5800x better than my 280mm AIO from NZXT. Absolutely silent as well. 10/10

> 3 dayI had doubts about the cooling for the core i7 12700, board msi carbon z690, ddr5 5600 32gb, this was the best option for air, it has no sound, it does not feel, when taking the equipment to workloads the maximum temperature was 65 degrees, very cool, it comes with all the anchors according to your configuration option, I see that I will have it for many years, the design, technology and quality have been there since I received the box.

> 3 dayBought an AIO and it lasted less than a year. Installed this and I am so happy with it. Sleek, powerful, and quiet. Keeps my Ryzen 5600x at a cool 65°c under load and it is quiet!!

Greater than one weekI dont really know how it was forgotten to file the cnc finish off the plate. the heatsink still works for my lower end build with a Ryzen 5 2600 averaging 65-70 under load, but i fear that the uneven finish might stir up problem when put with a different cpu. i have gotten Noctua fans an heatsinks before an this has not been an issue. If the bottom plate on the heatsink was polished like normal i would have given 5 stars, but with the uneven jagged state it came in i will not.

> 3 dayFans are a bit obnoxious to get back on during the install but aside from that i cannot find anything else to nitpick

> 3 dayMy son has a Cyberpower gaming PC. Its a beast of a machine, but recently it started randomly crashing. I read some reviews of others having the same issue until they replaced their cpu cooler with this one. So I thought Id give it a try. So happy that I did. I think it was fairly easy to install, once you read through the somewhat confusing directions, and watch several youtube videos. But in the end, its an excellent product, quiet, and really works well. Highly recommended if your case has the room for it. You can run just one fan if you want, but I had room for both of them. Also if running two fans, it comes with a Y adapter to connect them together to run off of of 1 motherboard header.

13-06-2025Like all Noctua products, the quality is exceptional. It is a touch difficult sometimes to get the screws going when mounting the cooler, but thats about it. Keeps my Ryzer 7 at good temps. I did try out their smaller 92mm single fan cpu cooler version for a bit. Compared to that I got 5 degrees lower on idle, and around 9 degrees cooler on load on Cinebench. That is going from a single 92mm cooler to dual 120mm, so the improvement makes sense. That just goes to show how good their smaller coolers are! If you dont plan to overclock your cpu I would go with their smaller cooler as the difference isnt massive. This particular all black version is on the pricier side (thats the 1 star drop). Nonetheless, Noctua is my go-to for anything cooling. I thought hard about buying an AiO from another brand but didnt want to have to worry about pump issues, leaking, or fitting the radiator in my case. Im happy I went with Noctua.
