Works great! I tried a general purpose amp but I couldnt get GOES 16. With this I get a very strong, stable signal.

Solid LNA/Filter overall. Exceeds gain spec, around 35 dB. Noise figure of around 1.9 dB. Ive included measured gain from 1.6 GHz to 1.8 GHz. My only wish would be markings on the case for input and output ports. The input is the side with the micro USB port.

Works great for doing what it is supposed to do! Nice to have a mounted unit with less handling worries. Easier to mount than raw boards. Built like they used to build things!

This is the 30 db version but it needs 180 ma which the NESDR SMARTee will provide. RSP-2 will not provide enough current; it crowbars; instead, get the 20 db version of the SAWBIRD--it requires only 30 ma; Or you could buy the 30 db version and power it other than by the RSP-2s bias-t

This is the right tool for the job, worked with bias-t on two different rtl-sdrs, clean reception over 24 hour period, sturdy case protects components

This unit improved my reception distance from 5 miles to as much as 100 miles using the same antenna. Compact unit, works very well.

Used with a grid dish antenna and a Nooelec RTL Smartee. Vit average <450, 0 packet drops.

Works very well for receiving L-band transmission from weather satellites. Although it draws a bit of current.

my new nooelec sawbird+geos premium saw filter works great before i got it i could hardly make out the pictures from the satellite now that i hooked it up i get very good pictures so i would recomend this nooelec sawbird to anyone interested in receiving geos pictures.
