It is sturdy and easy to put together. Add that its esthetics are an improvement over the box I was using, and I am very happy.

I have another stand which is collapsable/height-adjustable, but its quite flimsy and Ive always been worried about it getting knocked over. As you can see from the photo this stand is stable under small bird weight at least! Build quality seems good (the parts slotted together snugly) and the finish looks professional. For a standing desk youll probably want to raise it up a bit on something but thats the case for most stands.

Its a sturdy product and and support my Macbook pro 15 without any problem. The stand can be a little unstable standing itself but once you out laptop on it, its pretty stable.
