Greater than one weekThese sharps containers are 2 gallon in size and have a large opening on the top to insert syringes, etc. I keep mine under the kitchen sink. As a insulin dependent diabetic, I use a lot of sharps each day. These containers last me a bit over two months. Most of my injections are from insulin pens, so I am using small needles. If one is using only syringes, the containers wont last as long.
