Provided one has the correct crimper, this design of clamp is really excellent for permanent connections. Fast and solid. I would not use this clamp if removal is often needed. Great clamp design, faithful manufacturing of the clamp. I especially love the smaller size. This type of clamp is great extra insurance for irrigation hose connections. I have used these clamps for barbed connections, but have not used them to clamp to fittings that do not have a barb or enlarged end. I would not want to use this clamp on fuel lines without checking with the manufacturer.

Using these with my home brew setup, easy to install, secure, great product.

Incredible price for Oetiker, no discernable difference in quality from the clamps we already had. Good deal!
