Folks, lets face it these replacement brush heads are pretty expensive. This is the first time I have had to replace them and I have to admit the sticker shock was more than I bargained for. Nevertheless, this is a great toothbrush and the brush heads do wear out. I decided that I like the job this electric toothbrush enough to spring for the replacements. They last a lot longer than a cheap bottle of wine and make your teeth a lot cleaner. I am in my 7th decade of life and I still have all of my teeth except for one implant, so it is pretty obvious that I practice good dental hygiene and see my dentist regularly. That has changed during the coronavirus era though. I brush my teeth and floss a lot, but I have not been to the dentist in well over a year because I am in COVID-19 jail like the other smart people my age. I really believe that this tooth brush has kept my teeth clean more than any other in my lifetime and will wager that after I get my second vaccine and see my dentist once again, the hygienist will be shocked at how well my teeth look. The bottom line is that you get what you pay for. In comparison to all the other toothbrushes and replacement heads for the electric ones, this one is the best I have owned. That said, I am more than happy to fork over the price of 4 replacement heads. I think I am worth it and you are too. Don’t let the price deter your good judgment. Buy this product. You will be glad you did. I recommend this toothbrush and these replacement heads to family, friends, and others who really want to keep their teeth clean even during this pandemic. Enjoy! Update: I have had both vaccines plus my booster and have had a couple of appointments since I first wrote this review. I was right. The dental hygienist was surprise at how clean my teeth are and how few pockets and how little plaque I had for the time it had been without seeing a dentist. It turns out she uses the same toothbrush and replacement heads as I do. Enjoy!

Have been using my io9 for about a year and its made a big difference on my dental hygiene. I cant live without it and these toothbrush heads last about as long as a regular toothbrush does.
