> 24 hourUsed in iceland. Did not need the ground feature, but bought these because of it, just in case. Seemed very high quality and worked in all the outlets we needed. They are very easy to insert and remove safely, we forgot one at one of the places we stayed, so make sure you check! Glad we bought extras :) This ONLY changes the PLUG, not the VOLTAGE. So make sure your devices you plug into this are rated for 240V They DO fit a polarized US plug (both ways). If you happen to have a device with a polarized plug though, take extra caution to ensure it is rated for 240V. Chances are if it really does need to be polarized (motors, heaters, appliances), then it will not be compatible with 240V.

> 24 hourThese adapters get the job done and support the ground pin for safety. Initially I was delighted. However they fit Schuko outlets very, very snugly. After inserting and extracting a few times these adapter tend to fall apart, exposing live electrical 230V contacts and creating a real safety issue. Do not buy!

> 24 hourThese were perfect for our needs. Having the ground plug on the US side makes them work on anything. Why would anyone buy the adapters that dont have the ground plug? I almost did until I stumbled on these. 6 sounds like allot, but its not as these days with all the devices you have to charge they get used. I also brought one with us during the day so I could plug in around town during lunches etc.
