When I tell you this is the most convenient, amazing idea! I keep it in my trunk and my 1yr old uses it EVERYWHERE we go! I bought the bags that go with it that has the absorbent pads in it. It is low so it taller kids may not like it much. But I like it way better than her using a public toilet. I sit it in my trunk for her to use it, or on the front seat floor most of the time. Many bathroom floors are nasty so I’d rather her use it in my car than on a public bathroom floor.

I like the idea of this travel potty however it is very small. My little 2 year olds bottom hardly fits on it & he refuses to use it. I’m returning it and bringing his regular potty out and about with us. He’s been very successful with potty training but just won’t go on this particular potty, and he does have 2 different ones at home so it’s not the “different” thing. I give 3 stars because perhaps other children will use it, and the idea is great.

Very sturdy and well-made compared to a similar product we were using before purchasing this. It is a little large to fit in the diaper bag, but it makes potty training while out and about much easier.

Like the concept. Wobbly on the toilet. Have not used it on a trip etc. Seems like it would be fine for that. If I take it to a public restroom I will have to find something to put it into for carrying. If you use it with no toilet recommend getting the plastic bags.

Never before children did I think I’d have a potty in my car, alas, here I am, and I’m reviewing it. This is the travel potty you never knew you needed, until you are potty training and are afraid to let your child ride in the car without a pull-up on. Alas, you have arrive at this product and possibly this review. You don’t think you need this until you are leaving your daycare facility, and get on the highway (which is about a 35 minute ride from home, and the next potty stop is a good 25 mins away) and you ensured your very adorable tiny tot has relieved themselves before hitting road, to only just pass through the toll booth and hear “I NEED TO GO POTTY!!!” To which you reply: “you just went at daycare can you hold it?” And tiny tot says: “NO ITS ALMOST COMING OUT!!” If this sounds like you, than this little port-a-pot for tots is just up your alley. It’s a stand alone little pot, so if you’re outside somewhere discrete you can let them pee on the ground, OR if you can’t do that, then they have amazing little absorbent bags that attach to this little pot to catch it all and tie it up (please take it home and discard of it properly, we’re all humans here, or so I hope). But wait!!!! there’s more!!! It’s convent to use in the trunk, or on the back seat for added privacy for your tiny tot, and even folds out to be a tot spot on a regular big pot. If you’ve gotten this far, for real it has been a life saver for my 3 year old in the long car rides to and from daycare daily, and when visiting friends. Happy Potty training families!

My child used this on our trip to a friends house, we used it at the airport or the plane and at their home. It is very versatile and a great way to keep your child off those dirt toilet seats. It is a bit unsteady when laid flat on a toilet seat, if the child wiggles around, but in all I think it serves its purpose and would recommend. The seat is also a good size, wasnt too small or too big. My child is pretty small in the bum bum area.

This is the perfect compact size for travel and quick potty breaks… especially when you have more than one child. No need to unload everyone to go into a public bathroom. It comes with a couple of bags but you can also use grocery bags and napkins to absorb anything. Very happy with this purchase and I definitely recommend!

Our daughter bought one of these to take with her in the back of her car since her 3 yr old old recently was potty-trained. We bought one to keep in the back of our SUV for both of our grandkids (3 yr old boy and 5 yr old girl). I love it! We dont like public bathrooms (especially for kids) and this potty chair is perfect---anytime but especially during this pandemic! Even our 5 yr old granddaughter easily used it the other week when we were out and about. We just set it up in the back of the SUV and she sat there. The plastic bags included are so handy. My son was using a traditional potty seat for traveling with that same 5 yr old and I cant tell you how many times that she would use the traditional one and there wasnt a convenient place to empty it. So....you guessed it....the urine ended up sitting in the traditional potty chair and wasnt pleasant to smell when they discovered it several days later. So, this one makes it easy to pick up the plastic bag and dispose in a trash can. Easy peasy! I highly recommend.

Was torn between this one and the Pottete. So glad I got the OXO. Its all about the buttons for the legs! They make it easy to quickly fold and unfold. My daughter used it twice the same day it was delivered as a reducer on two different home toilet seats that have a long seat style. It fit fine & secure. Just make sure to follow the directions and place it in the middle of the toilet opening not all the way to the front. My daughter started to rock when she was done and I could see how it could lift up if positioned incorrectly. If its in the middle its secure though for them to sit. Just dont leave your kid unattended on it as it cant secure to a seat like a permanent reducer. So yes there is a risk it could flip off if theyre trying to get off by themselves without a step stool, but thats likely the case with any reducer that isnt secured to the toilet seat. I like that the seat seems slightly smaller then the other two reducers we have. I feel like its the perfect size for her. She even wanted to help put it on the toilet. She likes it. Shes 17mths. She also sat on it as a mini potty & it seemed secure. Havent decided what bags to buy yet. It did come with some bags though. Didnt count them. Couldnt say how many it came with. I remember a reviewer saying they used one of the plastic grocery bags when on the go. So maybe start there if you need extra and dont want to spend on a bunch of liners. I plan on using it mostly for public toilets but the seat feature is convenient too. I think well use both. Highly recommend.

Be prepared for on-the-go potty emergencies with the OXO Tot 2-in-1 Go Potty. The Potty opens quickly and easily and works alone (with disposable bags), or as a seat that rests on top of toilets. The legs lock at the ideal height for growing tots, and soft, flexible flaps hold disposable bags securely in place. Three disposable bags with absorbent pads are included, and refills are available, plus the Potty can accommodate standard plastic bags in a pinch. The legs fold all the way out and non-slip grips keep the Potty stable on round or elongated public toilets. The small seat is sized for little bottoms and the generous shield prevents splatter. The smooth surfaces are easy to clean and the legs fold in, allowing the Potty to fit into the included travel bag for storage in cars, strollers or diaper bags.
