> 3 dayTapes works fine but it really smells of a very strong chemical when applying it to boxes. I wouldnt recommend it if you are taping boxes every day all day. It works fine for my purpose. I only ship out about 20 boxes a week and it only smells when you are actually putting the tape on the package and not when its just sitting there. It was a good value and I recommend it for occasional use due to the smell.

Greater than one weekMost of these packing tapes seem to be reviewed almost identically. There are 70-odd% 5 stars and then 10% that hate every one saying they smell or tear or dont adhere. So, I felt like I was rolling the dice whatever I bought. This one I was drawn to because of the thickness and sheer volume you get for the price, plus the reviews were pretty good. My wife and I both are very, very happy with this tape, and we are the types that our luxury items on Survivor would be Ketchup and Packing Tape, Lol. So, this does have an odor when you roll the tape off, but is not as bad as some and it disipates quickly. That is the only caveat to a very favorable review, here. Could not be happier with the quality of this product. Will recommend to anyone and will purchase again whenever we run out, which will be awhile because of how big these rolls are. 5 stars enthusiastically.
