My bearded dragon loves it but it’s to small for my likening,I had ordered extra large but it was way to small, other than that the product is great there was this random bend that made it hard to work with but would completely recommend

Some of the suction cups were bent by heat. Not a big deal, we ended up only using four of them. My dragon is roughly 6 years old. Fits great in a 40 gallon tank.

This is a surprisingly sturdy hammock for the price particularly since it relies on suction cups. I got this for a Savannah Monitor (about half grown) and not only does he love it its held up great. Only one of the three cups popped off and thats likely from the way he claws at them when hes active, so really thats a testament to how good the suction cups are that only one fell off after a month. The size I bought turned out to be too long for the area I put it but it folds nicely in half and since the cups tie on with leather straps its easy to mount when folded. I couldnt give a rating on cleaning since I havent had to since he has an established latrine corner and hasnt made a mess on the hammock. When I make a custom cage for him down the line I will be buying a second one to tie together with this one so he has enough space to stretch out when he is fully grown. The suction os also strong enough to hold up to constant use (both laying and climbing on) by a 3ish pound lizard. I was leary at first but I definitely recommend this product.

Long story short, due to a recent sudden move, I had to (temporarily) put my bearded dragon, Rothstein, into a smaller habitat. I was looking for ways to maximize his space when I came across this. Initially, Rothstein was not very happy with it. Its day three now, though, and he loves it! Hes about 15 inches from nose to tail tip, and with this being over two feet long, hes able to fit his entire stretched out body on it comfortably (he has a weird thing about his feet not freely hanging). The material is thick and sturdy, I dont have to worry about Rothsteins claws tearing it up or it sagging and detaching under his weight. It comes with six large suction cups and leathery strings. I havent had any problems with the suction cups staying in place with this product, which is a problem Ive had with other products. When I pulled it out of the package I had been disappointed because I couldnt get the crease in the center where it had been folded in half to smooth out. I ended up giving up on smoothing the crease and hung it up. It turned out the crease was not a bad thing after all because it give the lounger a nice upward slope on each side so Rothstein can get right under his basking light and he uses the crease to easily hop on and off the lounger. I will try to get a nice picture of him lounging so I can upload it. I would recommend this product for anyone who has a lizard that enjoys basking or climbing, money well spent. BTW - I suggest order it from here since the prices I saw for this product in pet stores were not a good deal.

These are the best! When you dont have sticks and they dont balance in a glass cage. The suction cups are great and adjustable. More wide and stable for my little dragon. She lovesss the run on these. Only thing i can use and they are cheap. I just take them out and rinse in hot water every 2 weeks if they get soiled. Also spot clean daily. Way better and cheaper then expensive pieces of wood, and more versatile! . Buy on Amazon! They are 15-20 online and 30+$ at petco and retailers..

My bearded dragon loves this hammock, and I do too. It spans across a 40 gallon breeder length wise with extra length to spare. It smells amazing, like fresh leather, especially under a heat lamp. In the year that Ive had it Ive had no breaks or snags in the fibers. You can tie the suction cups as close or far from the actual hammock to make it the right length for your viv. The fibers are firm enough to be very easy to clean. I throw it in the bath with half a cup of bleach and scrub it with a bristle brush to get messes off. The cons are that the suction cups are almost impossible to get to stick long term, and Ive started dampening them to get them to stick, which makes them leave circle marks on the glass. You could fix this with command hooks, but then you wouldnt be able to move it around. Additionally, the hammock is very creaky when a heavy animal runs across it, so if your tank is in your bedroom at night youll definitely hear your pet skittering around. Other than that I highly recommend it to anyone looking to decorate a viv in a creative and hassle-free way, and Im definitely going to buy the other 2 hammock shapes from Penn-Plax to do a unique layered look.

I dont know what it is about this thing, but my red tail loves it. We recently upgraded his terrarium and I was in the market for something that he could use to climb on and make use of the height of the enclosure, as he is an arboreal snake, but hes very heavy so it was difficult. I had serious doubts about whether it would even be large enough for him to sit on it, or if the suction cups would be able to hold his weight, but thankfully, it did. I had bought a ZooMed reptihammock at the same time, and this product outperforms the zoomed one by all accounts. I have to re-place the zm hammock almost every single time i mist his terrarium because it falls as soon as it gets wet, while the penn plax one stays strong. There is only one of four of the penn plax suction cups that comes loose, and the other three will continue to hold his weight so its not even like i have to constantly restick it. Plus, this product came with 2 extra cups, so mega bonus. Having 6 cups also means you can position it in more ways, especially in any terrarium smaller than mine. As for the lounger itself, he loves it. I dont understand whats so special about it, but he seriously spends most of his time either sleeping or crawling all over it. He hardly even touches the zoomed hammock. I even switched the two hammocks at one point to see if it was just 1 side of the enclosure he preferred, but he still prefered the penn plax hammock. So I am sold. This is a really great quality product that has won me and my boy over entirely. I know it wasnt even intended for snakes but it is exactly the kind of product I was looking for. I will absolutely be buying more and I highly recommend it for any arboreal/semi-arboreal animals.

for your reptile to climb around on!
These handwoven, 100% natural seagrass hammocks allow your pet to self-regulate their temperature
by moving closer or further from a basking light, when on an incline.
They’ll know how high to climb!
Lizard Loungers are great for arboreal and terrestrial species,
including Bearded Dragons, Anoles, Geckos, Iguanas, Hermit Crabs, and other reptiles!

Versatile and Adjustable Mounting:
The provided 2.5” suction cups easily attach to glass, plastic, and acrylic terrarium walls.
For a strong bond, please clean and wash suction cups with water before placing inside the habitat.
Our Lizard Loungers can be placed at any height and location,
providing an elevated vantage spot for your pet.
Its versatility allows you to position it many ways until your little one is happy!

Keeping Things Clean:
For optimal use and longevity, our Lizard Loungers should be spot cleaned on occasion.
This prevents debris and dirt buildup on the natural seagrass fiber.
Use a vinegar and water mixture on the lounger, spot clean where necessary,
then immediately dry completely before letting your pet climb back on.
A hairdryer works extremely well for this last step.
By doing this, your lizard lounger should live a lifetime, or two!
Because of its longevity and durability, it can be used over and over in several terrariums!

Gentle on Reptile Skin:
Although our Lizard Loungers look rough and rugged, the seagrass fiber is soft enough for sensitive skin.
When it’s time to shed, reptiles will rub against this natural fiber in order to remove old skin.
