Permatex 29040 Penetrating Grade Threadlocker Green, 36 ml

Often you are completely finished and you wish you had used threadlocker. At times one can not easily go back and apply it - this when this comes in handy - it has helped me several times. It is medium or slightly less in strength but a real help when needed.

I had a wristwatch that has small gold screws to attach the strap to the case. These gold screws tended to want to loosen and eventually fall off, causing a problem with the watch and the expense of sourcing and replacing the screws. I was concerned that the typical medium strength threadlocker would be too powerful and hard to remove on the relatively soft gold screws, so I bought the low strength product. It appears to have solved the problem and the screws no longer want to loosen. I expect to have no issues in removing the screws when I need to change the strap. A recommended product for smaller screws and bolts.

The adhesion was way lower than I expected, but I guess thats good if you want something to be truly removable. Its definitely not meant to handle anything but light vibrations. Worth keeping in the toolbox for handling commitment issues.

Great for building quad copters/drones! Keep screws and bolts from vibrating loose on quads but make it easier to remove than blue, especially on ZMR 250 type frames with the aluminum stand offs for the upper plate. If you used blue you could end up marring the anodized aluminum if you need to work on it. If the fastener is smaller than 1/4 6mm you should be using purple! Works good on motor bolts as well and you can run just 2 of them if you were really worried about weight and not have to worry about losing a motor mid air!

Messy but works great on rifle scope bases and rings. Things stay put after curing and can be easily loosened with a judicious amount of torque and hand tools. Cheaper than loc tite and works just as good.

Works as advertised. Adds just enough grip to hold bolts in place but still allows for removal without too much extra effort.

This is the weak version of thread lock. Works great on pocket knives.

I like to keep a variety of various Threadblocker on hand for a variety of applications. Now I have Green, Red, Blue & White.
