Do not buy if you have budgies, I bought mine and I had to throw it away because my parakeets kept sneezing and as we all should know when they constantly sneeze that mean that they are breathing dust or some sort of debris. I hate to write a negative review but the experience with this product was just that bad, I now have to take them to the vet cause it took me this long to realize what the true problem was...all that time wasted on scrubbing the walls, looking for an air purifier, cleaning their cage every day when it was the covering that was the issue. After I stopped using it they started sneezing less smh I cant with this. Please dont buy if you have parakeets

Much heavier material than I expected. Yet silky texture so it slides easily off and on. Slit sides make it easy to toss over tall cage.

Does a great job of covering bird cage, fit perfectly. The flap is great for adjusting how much light you want to let in. The one drawback being the material being very static-y. I get a shock every time I touch the cage.

Material seems to be very good quality, doesn’t let hardly any light through. Well made by manufacturer. My cockatoo sleeps much better and longer since putting on his cage. Took one star off for fit. I have a rounded top cage which this really isn’t made for. So would definitely give a five star for square cage.

I bought this for my VIVOHOME 30 Inch Height Wrought Iron Bird Cage with Rolling Stand cage that houses my dear sweet Lovebird. He hates any light when he sleeps and will NOT sleep if he has any light in his cage. This cover fit perfectly and keeps all the light out. He lives in the Livingroom, and we keep a light on in the room all night because we live on third shift. What more do you want? Oh, it is also easy to clean... so far, I have just washed it on gentle cycle with cold water and air dried it. Just wash it early in the day so it is dry before birdie bedtime...lol. It comes out perfect! I purchased this item.
