This thing is awesome. Easy to put together. Water bottle doesnt come with it and you will want it so grab a cheap one of those. Pretty sturdy, comes with a replacement perch. I have a sunconure (5 months) plenty of space for him. I love it.

I like this backpack and so does my bird.

This bag feels more dedicated toward a long travel like a move across country. Ventilation does not seem that good and I wish they had a side pouch that could allow the addition of a optional fan for a hot day. Needless to say the quality feels good the sides that are 100% stiff/cloth are reinforced with some plywood like material for stiffness, inside is lined with what feels to be a good quality plastic offering wind resistance of course the downside is it will trap heat however I feel it has enough netting and the outer material being a cooler color shouldn’t build up much extra heat and will give the bird optimum shade. I’ll update this review after I try it out Just very impressed by the build quality and I’m sure my cockatiels be happy. The perch is a nice thickness, not to happy about water bottle position meaning the bird needs to be on the button of the bag to drink water where as they can eat perched however I think that’s more or less a problem with the design since if it could be placed higher the material would be to thin plus the ventilation would probably be hindered if they were to flip flop it to where the top is stiff and the button is a mesh material. So I don’t think there is any work around in that area. Edit: My Bird got injuried and the vet advised my cockatiel stay in a cage roughly the size of this bag and honestly this bag makes it easy to give him his meds, he feels safe, and he has his food and water so it’s like a temporary portable cage. Took perch out since he can’t perch right now and I’m laying pillow cages over the metal grid for my lil guy to lay on. All and all solid bag and definitely fantastic for vacations or monitoring a injured or sick Bird by placing them on your night stand when you sleep or on your desk when you work.

I bought this for a Christmas gift and my wife loved it. It fits our Quaker and Conure parrots easily and they love riding along in it. Both got in by themselves and look quite happy in it.

Impressed by quality of product. Little bit small for full sized african grey (and amazons I suppose). Perch is too thin and not well fixed - rotates under bird mass. When facing front bird doesnt fit comfortable because of shape of front transparent window. Going to solve both problems by replacing perch by flexible one and making bird sitting diagonal (need to cut walls to install). One more weakness - side windows covers are not full sized (due to shape of upper part) so wont fully block cold winter wind.

My little girl loves this carrier. She gets in with no stress and enjoys her walks. This backpack has over double the ventilation of others on the market. Ive found a water bottle that fits the slot on the side perfectly so my conure has food and water when we go out. Ive taken her out in the backpack in temperatures of up to 85 F safely with no problems!

So I just got the backpack today. I have to say that it looks AMAZING. only thing buyers beware the perch is made for a budgie not much bigger. I cant say that i can see my senegal or quaker enjoying to stand on it. It is just too skinny. They need to make a perch for it that is wider that will fit other birds.

fantastic well made carriers for my Eclectus. Love it excellent carry case when not in use, easy to put together and disassemble. My parrot likes it.

This is my dream bird carrier & its better than I thought it would be. The zippers are really protected from birds chewing/pecking at them!, perch is a dowel, but very sturdy & safe for your precious bird. I love that the front opening has 2 zipper -which I will lock/clip closed so my children or curious observers cant open it. Compared to other carriers Ive had & seen this one has so much ventalation. If it gets too breezy, the side panels could be closed & front panel closed but still allowing air flow. There are 3 holes (that are reinforced with metal) at the top of the carrier -which I attached a toy through them. I included many pictures, because I found the ones online didnt do it justice. 1. there is a hole & elastics for a water bottle. I included mine in a picture, but it doesnt come with it. 2. The man wearing the carrier has it weird on his back. It has a shoulder strap. This one keeps the carrier snug against your back. 3. It also has a waist strap.. which you can attach around your waist or clip them into the clips at the top by the handle (which is padded really well and very comfortable!). I thought the clear, soft screen at the front would be horrendous & my bird would chew through it. He hadnt. Awesome quality. This carrier has a bag it comes in thats really huge & intimidating. Its incredable. Be careful the first time you zipped it up. Its tight around the corners and the teeth may not click in one after the other properly. I gave it 4/5 because the bird stand itself was damaged & the bottom grate was damaged in one corner ...both you can see in the pictures. Regardless best carrier ever!!!! I tried another brand/kind. This one is more enjoyable, safer, less advious, has so much ventalation & sturdier than others! Im so glad I bought it! I will attach a picture of my bird in it & of it on my back once I get one. I will also remove the damaged picture & change the rating if the company replaces the damaged parts.

Works well! Fits a chunky sun conure and a male indianringneck comfortably. The perch is pretty low so if you have long tailed birds (like my ringneck), the tail will get curved in the bag. I specifically bought this because of the grill on the bottom. I’ve been carrying my birds (all flighted, and not so keen on harnesses) in dog carriers and always had a problem with them getting their tails and feet soiled when in the carriers. The bottom part of this bag solves that issue and the birds don’t have to be carried in an awkward height (the previous hand carried carrier would be below knee level and I was always worried they would have dust kicked up into the carrier). Overall very good and affordable bird carrier!
