Each bottle is equipped with a special AirFree vent,and not leaking liquid and the vent really does work to keep air from being forced down. this works even when the bottle is held horizontally.The milk freely flows into the nipple，it channels any air out of the nipple and into the top of the bottle.The nipple is of course changeable and the vent can be removed if for whatever reason you dont like them. The vent inserts are very easy to put in and take out.They are easy enough to clean .Very happy with these.
