Philips Hue Motion Sensor + 2pk W A19

Took about 45 seconds to set up and works great. Very happy with the purchase. I use it for my pantry light where the light switch is outside the pantry. 10/10 would recommend this product for laundry/pantry/bathroom. Anywhere where you’re in and out of there quick. I could see it being a pain for a place for continuous occupancy like living room.

I have two of these motion sensors now and they work great. Actually have one outdoors over my front door to turn on the porch light as someone approaches. Even though it’s not rated for outdoor use it works fine. It’s out of the weather so it doesn’t get rained on but is still subject to the temperature extremes. The other sensor is used to activate a light at the bottom of my stairs - it turns on as I start down the stairs or when I come in from the garage into the downstairs entry. To this point they have worked flawlessly.

We use this in our stairs to automatically turn the lights on. A feature I really like is that within the hue app, you can set different presets for different times. That way the lights are much more dim for us between 10pm and 7am!

Works- but annoying in the hue app - when the sensor triggers, you can specify a scene. When it triggers as off it only can turn lights off not trigger another scene. Not that helpful. If it triggers lights on, and you then use alexa or google home to turn up the lights, motion again with re-trigger back to the scene, not recognize it is already on. The stateless nature of these accessories makes this all kinda lame. LIke a google product - 80% there but the last 20 percent bums you own and disappoints. A HUE software problem to be clear - not hardware.

Easy to use and set up! Works great!

Tiny, easy to use, and a quick set up, the main annoyance being that it can be a couple seconds between tracking movement and the light coming on which makes it a lot less useful for the hallway I have it set up in.

Love my Philips lighting. Excellent product with excellent features. Wouldn’t have it any other way. Worth the price.

Working range is not more than 3-4 meters.
