If you’ve invested in Phillips hue universe this is a great addition especially if the power goes out with the rechargeable battery. The hue lights/bulbs will cost you but I’ve never had any issues with them. Now that the house is pretty much completed I’m happy with all of the hue products.

These are so much better than the 1st generation Hue lights. Theyre a LOT brighter and the can actually make BLUE and GREEN!!!!!!!! No brown though. Science hasnt figured that one out yet.

Not as bright as I would like and you lose about 20% of the max brightness once you switch to a color. The automatic turning on/off as I arrive/leave is pretty nice.

I have hue bulbs all over the house. It’s worth the cost because I can control them from anywhere and set whatever mood I want on the app.

So much beauty and so much control! In the living room we use it as a brilliant daylight bulb, and the same one in the bedroom is set to certain colors as the day progresses to help our kids keep track of a schedule and prepare them for transitions. Phone control in addition to alexa control is really useful. A dimmer switch is a great add on, especially if youre using this in a hallway, kitchen or bathroom. I love walking into the kitchen in the middle of the night and being able to have dim light, but to have bright light when Im cooking, or daylight on a gloomy day.
