These paddles weigh 7.85 ounces each and the ball makes a nice pop sound when you hit it. The paddle face is a smooth carbon fiber probably because of the painted wood grain graphics. The ball does pop off your paddle when dinking and volleying but has good power when driving the ball. This would be a great starter set to get at a very reasonable price for carbon fiber paddles. The included bag and balls makes a complete package.

I’m just starting to learn about pickle ball and these are going to be an awesome set for beginning. I love that there is more than one paddle. It includes balls and all fits in a handy dandy carrying case. They look and feel of these paddles is nice, and I am looking forward to getting to use them. This is a great value for the price as well.

I havent had a chance to use these yet, but am pleased with my purchase! The paddles came wrapped individually in bubble wrap, tucked within a good looking gray and black case, and arrived clean as a whistle with no dents, dings, or any compromise to the beautiful paddles. Seems like a quality set, and was definitely put together with the kind of care I appreciate. I wanted to buy a nice, conservative set, and this will be that. The blue pattern on the paddles is attractive without being distracting or obnoxious, and that was important to me. Subtle, but pretty = perfect for me! Cant wait to use the set! Will update this review later if anything changes, but I dont anticipate that.

Nice beginning set. Paddles are light weight and have carbon fiber surface. Have a nice cushion grip. Comes with carrying case and 4 balls. I recommend them for people just starting out for the first time.

Ive been looking for a set for me as a beginner and I love that I get a full set and carrying case. The paddles are light but good quality. I cant wait to get out on the court and start playing this Spring!

Like others, weve been watching our friends play pickleball for awhile and decided to jump in with this set. The rackets seem well made and lightweight with carbon fiber frames and nice grips that are comfortable in my small hands and my partners large hands. The double set of indoor and outdoor balls and carrier bag are nice bonuses.

Got these as my husband and I decided we would start playing pickle ball. I did a little research before hand and found that honeycomb polymer cores are best and the carbon fiber surface is most durable (versus fiberglass). The grip circumference seems fine for my hand and my husbands. I think this is a great starter set and reasonably priced.

As a guy who first played this sport in 1995, and hadn’t thought about it in decades, it’s nice to see people giving it a spin. This set is pretty much what you need. Comes in a nice carrying case all the stuff to get on the court with a friend at a price that makes it a good point of entry. Definitely a smash of a deal.
