I just received the Pictron Metal Phone Tripod Mount along with the MT extendable tripod and the Ulanzi VI49 light and I must say I could not be more impressed. Amazon recommended that these 3 pieces should be bought together and it is true. Each piece is extraordinarily well made and designed. They seem to be of utmost quality, precisely made and thoughtfully designed.

I saw this while looking at some cheaper plastic versions, it caught my eye and I couldnt forget it, and I eventually had to try it out. Very well made with anodized aluminum and steel. Very smooth operation, very secure locking mechanism. I put it on my Slik Compact XL tri-pod. Very good pairing, similar materials. It looks good, feels good, excellence in engineering. Had to buy remote separately (many of the cheaper plastic versions included a remote). I found a nice pair of remotes for around $8.00, probably better than the ones included with other models. Im using it with a Pixel 6, very good pairing, holds firmly and releases with a twist of the red knob. Ready to record many outings and events. Totally worth the price.

I really do like this camera mount. I always look for something made of metal or high quality composites. This mount checks all the boxes. It not only looks good but functions as good as it looks. The 1/4-20 mount hole on the bottom allows you to mount this to any of your tripod plated with ease. I have mine mounted to an Arca style plate for quick switching between my tripods.
