Planters Peanut Oil, 24 oz

Hard to find. Delivered fine.

THEY USED A GRIPPER TAPE TO SEAL THE TOP, IT TOOK FIVE MINUTES TO GET IT OFF. ALSO, ONLY 8 MONTHS TILL BEST BY DATE. NORMAL?

Good to use.

I use peanut oil, and olive oil for most tasks. Olive when I want flavor, and peanut when I dont. Both have high monounsaturated so, theyre very heart healthy. I do use sunflower oil for frying schnitzel, it has the same smoke point as olive , but is cheaper and has no flavor, and I dont reuse it. As an added bonus, its extremely high in polyunsaturated fats which makes it perfect for seasoning cast iron. There were several reviews about lack of flavor. They were confusing the frying oil peanut oil with unrefined peanut oil and toasted peanut oil (which has a fairly low smoke point). Id point out that refined peanut oil is not required to carry the warning label for allergens. Im pretty sure a turkey fried in unrefined peanut oil wouldnt be the hit of the party. Youd taste peanut, not turkey.

I like the product and almost bought it today. Then I saw the price of over $11.00. Its under $4.00 if you join prime pantry and pay them a monthly fee, which I wont do. Walmart had it for under $4.00. So, I bought it there. Amazon is no longer the low price leader in most products. If you want peanut oil, the Planters peanut oil is great, and I would give it 5 stars. Just be careful how you buy it.

Like other cooking oils, this oil does not sit on my stomach

Needed to use to reheat peanuts to freshen them up, but good for general cooking. High heat point.

This is the perfect size to fill our spray bottle.

Need a bigger size.. I loved it..gives great taste to the food.

The reviews here are pretty hilarious... Let me clarify. Peanut oil is supposed to be flavorless. You guys giving it a bad review for no flavor should be giving it 5 stars. Look up recipes that calls for an oil that has little to no flavor before flaming a product.
