This is a fantastic suitcase! I purchased it for a recent trip overseas. It packed easily and held a LOT! Plus it has a zippered expansion section for purchases you bring home. Sturdy yet lightweight and easily rolls AND the handle stays in position! Highly recommend.

My main motivation for purchasing this bag was the charging capabilities. The bag must be recharged and only has a short USB cable for recharging. This means you must have an adapter and extension cord to recharge the bag, wasting valuable space.

I would never purchase this again or recommend this item to anyone

This seems to be a quality case (only one international trip with it so far), and is one thats actually airline legal carry-on size -- if you dont utilize the expansion feature. The only thing its missing is a parking brake! It WILL walk away from you if on uneven terrain (sidewalk in my case), if you let go of it and are momentarily distracted.

This case rolls so smoothly! If you’re stopped on even the gentlest slope it may keep rolling, but that means airport carpet and bumpy sidewalks are no match for this case. I also own an Away suitcase and I much prefer the wheels on this Travelpro. Get it.

This bag came highly recommended from a friend. I ordered the 21” carry on hardcover and received a soft giant (ie. Must be checked) suitcase. I returned it and tried again. The next one arrived, correct size and material, but it was crushed! I returned it. Ordered again, finally got what I ordered, not damaged. Have used it once, so far it’s been good though if you stuff it full, the handle can be difficult to collapse.

You can tell it is a quality piece of luggage. For years, I purchased cheap luggage which would only last 3 or 4 trips. While this piece cost more, you can tell the quality is better. Of course, you will get some scuffs on it but that is to be expected. I recommend a darker color (navy) if you are worried about marks on the luggage. The luggage was slightly heavier than I anticipated but still not overly heavy. The wheels transition good from low pile carpet found in most airport to a smooth floor. I did notice that the luggage may tip over depending on how you loaded the luggage. However, that seems to be a common issue for most hard sided luggage. The luggage does come with a 5 year limited warranty compared to the lifetime limited with the softside elite luggage. If I get 5 years out of the luggage, I will have no complaints. Will update review after a few more trips.

I love this suitcase! Its been on several trips with me now and still looks and feels brand new. The exterior is durable and scuff resistant. It has clean lines with a minimal aesthetic. The finishes are all premium grade. The handle releases easily and has a smooth glide, no yanking it into place. The zippers all glide with ease and yet stay in place once youve secured them. The wheels are so smooth, this glides across any floor surface with no friction at all; they can corner, turn, and change direction on a dime, with little direction - it almost feels like this case is driving itself as it has just an intuitive response.

Well built, great design. Survived rough treatment and the metal corners are very sturdy. I have been buying TravelPro for years and it just keeps getting better.
