> 24 hourGot this to use with my early 2015 Macbook Pro Retina after I realized that 120gb of storage is way too little. When I first plugged in, I got some wierd (chinese?) letters as the name, but it wasnt too big of an issue once I renamed it. So I was in between this and the Samsung T3, but ultimately chose this drive because it was a daily deal and the 480gb was only 110. At the time of this review, Amazon also has the Samsung t3 240gb for 100. I ultimately decided that since I wasnt doing any video editing, I chose to sacrifice write speed in favor of more space. However, I ran some speed test through Black Magic, and got some incredible speeds. If Im not mistaken, these are similar to the Samsung T3! Im glad I chose this drive, and Im planning to use to daily as a drive that is attached to my macbook cover via velcro.

> 24 hourI bought this external SSD for my Wii U actually as a quick way to install games on, and this is a very nice alternative to internal storage especially if its slow. So far I havent had any issues after having this for quite a while.

> 24 hourSo I know I should have looked at the picture and realized just how small this thing is, but its seriously tiny! It also connects immediately when I plug it into my Mac. I did reformat it right away into exFAT so that it works with Macs and PCs, and because the original drive name was not in English. I plan on using this drive to replace an old 500GB HDD that I have, so Ill be migrating a bunch of files over soon. Ill update this review if I run into any issues with this drive, so far this seems solid. The only concern I have is losing it!

> 24 hourThis is a super deal. Ive purchased many different SSD drives for home and work but I cant believe that this small drive is so fast. I used the free ATTO speed test and it is among the fastest of all my SSD drives on my system (I have four) It comes formatted as ExFat but I reformatted it NTFS since I plan to jut leave it plugged into the rear USB 3.0 port my Dell Optiplex 5070. It is a little warm to the touch but thats fine. Again, what a bargain!

> 24 hourBought two of these for use on RPi 4. Both worked very well for a few months. Then one started to report bad blocks and require fsck every boot. After a few days even this failed and the drive never worked again. The other one is still working fine after several months. So I gave 3 stars as average of 1 and 5.

> 24 hourJust started using the drive today. So far so good. However, trying to register the drive was very frustrating. There isnt a serial number printed on the drive anywhere and there is no sticker or label either. Theres nothing in the packaging showing the serial. I had to use the cmd prompt in Windows to find the serial so I could register the thing. For anyone else who needs to find this, you can use this command: wmic diskdrive get Name, Manufacturer, Model, InterfaceType, MediaType, SerialNumber. Cant guarantee this will be the right number, so you may need to verify this with the manufacturer, but thats what Windows reports and what I went with personally. PNY should get this resolved.
