Prima Marketing Prima Confections Watercolor Pans 12/Pkg-Currents

If you like Prima Watercolor Confections this is a lovely set as usual. I have almost all of the sets and use them frequently.

Im surprised about the quality of these paints. Theyre very strongly pigmented and the vibrancy of the color is great. I do agree about the blues being a tad close when maybe a nice strong sapphire blue would have been good but Im pretty satisfied with the options provided. The tray the pans rest in is not the best and I hate having to open all the little individually wrapped colors but the colors make up for it.

This is my first ever review on Amazon. I bought the Prima Confections Watercolor paints in Currents. The colors individually are beautiful and collectively go together well. I have a stash of watercolor paints from a variety of makers. This paint was as pretty any other that I own. As for color fastness, I do not know. I am not a pro, so it doesnt matter so much to me. I definitely recommend.

Beautiful colors! They are definitely higher quality than I expected. Tons of pigment but not opaque like gouache. This lovely color set is perfect for creating a beach or water painting.

The shades of blues and greens are just gorgeous and perfect for seascapes. However, I tried them on 300GSM/140lb 100% cotton cold press watercolor paper and they would NOT lift. Mind you, the paint was still wet and I tried to lift off some of the paint with tissue. It would not move. So please keep this in mind if you are looking for set of paint that can be lifted from the paper. Other than this issue, this pan is worth the money.

Has to be one of my favorite confection sets!! Im all about underwater so this watercolor set sings to me whenever I open it. I love every color thats there. Shipping and handling were well done! Edit- when I tried them on arches cold press and trekell brushes it IS BEAUTIFUL. the pigment for the blues are just perfect!

I love the quality and colors in all of the sets. I believe I have them all now. Currents is full of colors I use a lot. I find owning convenience colors makes travel and plain air easier as it reducing mixing.
