does what is advertised to do I share a single HP Laserjet Pro with my work laptop and home desktop computers. added benefit of now power cable needed and comes with 2 printer cables! I would definitely recommend!!

Able to hook-up printer to both computers but cables need to be longer.

I bought two for my 2 laptop and 2 printers so the laptops could use either HP printer. It seem to work for a week but then either the PC laptop software or HP Smart Print Software or the Device itself would not print. I would have to unplug and plug the usb cords, turn printer off and on and try different things in order to print a doc when switching between the printers. Once I went direct from printer to laptop with the usb cords without using the switching device, I could print. I returned the device after 2 weeks and was never reimbursed. Still working on that.

Worked exactly as expected for my need. My need was to have the availability to print via USB from 2 computers.

It is the answer to having two computers and one printer.

This allows me to swap between two computers for printing with the click of a button.

This simplified using a Samsung laser printer between 2 computers that sit beside each other. It works perfectly!
