Professional LED Floor Lamp, with Phone Holder and Tripod Stand, LED Light for Content Creation

A great lamp for Christmas display! My family loves it.

So I have had this on my wanted list FOREVER, but could never really justify spending the money on it, despite A Christmas Story being one of my top 2 favorite Christmas movies ever, alongside Its A Wonderful Life. But this year, I finally bit on it as I realized that this, when properly stored, could be a sort of family heirloom that I could pass down to my children. Knowing this could be in the family long after Im gone led me to finally buy it. It arrived in two cardboard boxes, which if Im honest, werent terribly robust. After a couple of days, I set it up and realized that the bulb inside the leg was either broken or fell out of the socket. I contacted the Christmas Story Museum and they promptly shipped a replacement leg to me with a prepaid label to return the first one. Excellent customer service. Once the replacement arrived, I set ot up and was a bit disappointed at how the leg itself illuminated. It uses a 15w candelabra bulb that illuminates the thigh, but not the lower leg. I thought I could tolerate it, but it kept grating on me. As a result I decided to modify mine. Overall, this is actually pretty well built. The leg is actual size of a real female human leg, not those smaller scale ones you can find. The plastic itself is pretty thick and I believe it would probably hold up if it fell. The stocking is a real fishnet, although not the exact same as in the film. The shoe is a nice shiny black. The base is solid wood stained in a nice cherry color. The shade is extremely good quality, with an inner liner. The outside is a nice, shiny gold, and the tassels were all intact. The only downsides were the poor illumination of the leg, as well as the consistency of the plastic injection molding. I modified mine using a 1-inch wooden dowel cut to length, with a 16 foot section of LED tape wrapped around it. I inserted this down the center of the leg and ran the outlet out the hole at the top of the leg and plugged it into one of those light bulb sockets that have an outlet built in. HUGE difference! (see photo) My only gripe that by fully illuminating the leg brings out defects in the consistency of the injection molding. There is some streaking/seams that become visible, which is annoying...they may be visible in the photo. Still, it looks great from the street, and the entire neighborhood is turned on. I would buy this again...its a great conversation piece and will be displayed at my home for years to come during the holidays. One year update: Lamp is holding up well. Repackaged in the original boxes and stored in the basement for the year. Still works great, and no regrets with adding additional lighting in the leg. Really wish the Christmas Story Museum would re-engineer the design to incorporate this feature...mine is a bit jerry-rigged, but it does function well. Also should note that the switch enables just the main bulb to light, just the leg itself to light, or both. The LED kit that I used also has three brightness settings, so I have options. Also, also...if you decide to do the same modification, be sure to use cool white LEDs rather than warm white...I found the warm white to make the leg look too yellow, whereas the cool white look perfect.

Behold the fra-gee-lay! This lamp is awesome. Very well made. Besides the fact that it’s not very bright at the lower end, I also wish that the manufacture would make the base a little wider as it seems a little precarious standing. I’m very happy with it, regardless!

I am so happy with this purchase! While at first I hesitated because it was pretty spendy, I am glad I bought it! Packaging was in tact and delivered in perfect condition! Incredibly EASY assembly (under 2 min to assemble) make sure you have a 60w bulb on hand as it does not come with a bulb. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Ive wanted a full-size leg lamp for years, and I wanted the real deal. Not some cheap, chintzy looking knock off. I am SO happy I spent the extra money and got the licensed replica. The light bulb that goes in the leg is included, but you will need to buy a bulb for the external light that goes under the lamp shade. Instructions say not to use higher than a 60 watt bulb, but that was super bright. I swapped the 60 for a 40 watt instead, and that looks much better in my opinion. This is a quality product that Ill be able to enjoy for years to come!

This lamp looks exactly like the one in the movie. If youre hesitant on purchasing, dont be. Its worth every penny. The only thing that disappointed me was the box the leg came in. It has a huge hole in it and I wanted to use it next to the leg.

My sister and brother in-law have wanted one of these for years. They had a little one that was only about 20 high sitting front and center in their bay window where everyone could see it. They really decorate their house inside and out for the holidays, so this year, I bought them this lamp. I gave it to them on Christmas and they were so excited they took it right out of the box and put it together. It immediately took over the bay window and It will be there for every Christmas to come. It was very easy to assemble. The 2 boxes it came in both said Fragile, and This Side Up just like the movie. They are very sturdy but, one of them had a gash in it. It came just a day or two before Christmas so I didnt want to send back. The boxes are intended to be used to store the lamp. Excellent purchase, and made my family very happy.

So overall excited to own this wanted the full size my entire life however the bulb inside was loose and have to cut into the felt on the bottom to unscrew a clamp to release cord inside to tighten the bulb so essentially you have to damage the product on bottom where the felt is to fix the problem right out of the box but looks amazing in my window people stop on my street to gaze at it just like the movie has that magical effect

It truly is the lamp from the movie modulo the light in the leg is warmer than in the movie. Well made, solid lamp that is easy to assemble. My family was stoked and immediately sent pictures to friends and family.

Got my FRAGILE.....HIS END UP boxes today in the US Mail.....I was laughing when I opened the door and the mail lady was looking at me with quizzical look as she unloaded the boxes.... I asked her if shed seen A Christmas Story and of course she said yes and immediately put two and two together...said her husband has wanted one for ages.....she asked where Id put it, and I said in the front window of course!!!! She said she would come back after dark just to see it!!!! Boxes....PERFECT!! Right down to the FRAGILE in huge letters and the HIS END UP on each panel.....I was cracking up as I opened the packages....! PERFECT!!!! Everything in A-1 tip top shape....no runs in the fishnet stocking, no crooked lamp shade... looks better than whats on my real lamps!!!!!! IF I had two of them I could wear the stockings and shoes myself!!! Within minutes I installed the 60W bulb in the top (Leg has a bulb that is pre-installed and worked on first try!)...turned it on and thought Id wet myself laughing!!!! .I had to put it on an ironing board in order to have it fill the front window correctly at the correct height......but IT. IS. PERFECT!!!! Cant WAIT for dark (3 PM now....) This is a MAJOR AWARD and on Friday, when I am watching reruns of the movie over and over and over again, I am going to be in Christmas heaven!!!! Cant WAIT for my friends to come over, neighbors to see it, and passersby to crash into my shrubs out front as they rubberneck.... I just wish I had an old man to enjoy it with! A note on ordering....I ordered this item LATE on Sunday night, Dec 20, regular shipping, and its here today December 23 at 2PM!!!! How great is that?!?!?!!? Next year I will get more A Christmas Story items...They have a throw that would be perfect under this to hide the ironing board.....I need some cracked eyeglasses, and a pink bunny suit to complete my tableau...... Forget regular Christmas decorations....everyone on your block has them...spend the jing and get one of these. You can be sure I wont be tossing this in the damp basement or the hot attic for storage!!!!! A MAJOR award that I would give TEN stars to if I could!!!!!
