Its just off white enough to pass for a skin tone, and the fact that its one long strand of roving means I can pull off small, long sections to wrap around arms/legs, or smaller, wider tufts to felt into heads, bodies, etc. Lots of wool for the price and felts nicely, not too silky so you dont notice the holes left by felting needles. Just the right consistency. Will order again, but probably wont need to for awhile! Thanks!

How to clean wool felt?
Wash with cold water, do not bleach.
Choose a neutral wool cleaner marked with a pure wool logo
Hand wash alone, do not use the washing machine to keep the appearance.
Wash the dirty part gently by hand, do not brush with a brush.
Use shampoo plus rinse can reduce the pilling phenomenon.
After cleaning, hang in the ventilated place to dry naturally, do not insolate.
