My granddaughter had a week or two that she was interested in knitting. During that time, we gathered a lot of yarn and it was not easy to contain. This bag is small but we were able to cram a lot of yarn inside! It is also very easy to store. The bag has a great pattern and the 12-year-old loved it. For now, her attention has shifted to something else that she wants to master. However, I am very happy to store this bag with the supplies for a time when she wants to knit again.

Its very nice and has lots of room for your yarn on the inside. Easy to crochet from the skein that is inside the bag

The Qukou Large Capacity Yarn Tote Bag with Detachable Strap is a nice choice for both knitters and crochet artists. It shipped well with minimal packaging. It did emit a strong odor that took days to dissipate. The bag is true in size at 12.6x11inch being quite generous in size. It features a mesh outer pocket, a large drop-in pocket on the front, and a section to place three crochet hooks or a few pairs of knitting needles. The inside is a big empty area for your yarn and projects. The top lid area has a soft plastic handle, spots to hook on the detachable strap, and four areas for yarn to be drawn from if so desired. The inside material is easy to wipe clean if needed. The outside is a pretty pattern that features sparkles throughout. I didnt know the bag was sparkly. I dont mind the sparkles but I wanted to point it out because I know they arent everyones cup of tea. The bag stands up really well when full and even when only a few items are inside instead of collapsing upon itself. There are no loose strings or off-seaming. I have not had any issues when using this bag. It is ideal for travel but it also works quite well for projects both knit and crochet when at home. Recommended.

Given as a gift. The receiver loved it. They said it was perfect to hold their yarn and crafting supplies.

This is a great medium-sized tote bag for my crochet supplies. It is nicer than I expected and it is loaded with useful features. No more tacky looking plastic bags full of skeins of yarn and half-completed projects that are threatening to fall out and that I tuck behind the couch when visitors show up -- plus, no more lost crochet hooks! The bag is a good size and holds a lot; the fabric is light-weight but feels quite sturdy. The main compartment is zippered and has a large interior capacity and there are slip pockets all the way around (two on each long side, one on each short side). The zipper is the type that leaves a bit of an opening at each end which some might not like. There are three grommet-lined openings on each side of the top for yarn to pass through. There is a large pocket in front that unzips around three sides to open and fold down for easy access; inside are elasticized holders to keep 11 crochet hooks secure. There is also a small zippered pocket for small items and it has a clear plastic cover so they remain visible. There are slip pockets on each side. The back has two large pockets with snap closures. The bag has two webbing-style carrying straps that are anchored to the bag with faux leather patches, and each strap has a faux leather hand grip. There is a removable shoulder strap that is also made of webbing that can be attached via metal swivel snaps to metal rings secured to each end of the bag. The shoulder strap can be adjusted for length and it has a padded fabric sleeve to make carrying the bag comfortable. The fabric features a pretty blue and white pattern with grey and glittery silver accents. The current price of $21.88 seems reasonable.

I have a more sturdy bag for plane travel with a lot of zip pockets and I have a little bag for carrying around with me but if you wanted to put an entire project in it this travels well and is light and small.

Perfect project bag! This is a good size bag with plenty of room for all of your extras. The two pockets on the back have magnetic snaps that make it easy to snap them closed. The needle/hook storage area has plenty of room for all of your crafting tools for those projects that call for different sizes. The knitting needle are can store up to 12 inch needles. Beautiful fabric, well designed, project bag.

First, I am a crocheter and do not knit so the spaces for knitting needles are wasted space for me. Had it simply been another pocket I could use it with other crochet hooks or accessories. Another thing I did to make this better was the holes for yarn to come through. The fact that yarn tends to be thready so if the holes have any roughness around them at all, the yarn will catch on it. I took some clear tubing (for aquarium pumps that I use in a hydroponic set up), cut a couple of short pieces and glued them in place in the holes The tubing is absolutely smooth so the yarn slides perfectly without catching. A plastic straw would probably work just as well, but I happen to have the tubing at hand. I did find the zipper section to be problematic as well - again, yarn being thready, it will catch way too easily between the teeth of the zipper. I should not have had to, but I took a strip of leather I had on hand and glued it around the inside of the bag next to the zipper. The leather creates a protected barrier for the yarn inside and allows me to zip the bag with confidence that I will not catch any yarn in the zipper. I did give this bag 4 stars which may be a little higher than it deserves, but I loved the material it is made from, the thought behind it so it would work as a crochet bag and that it can easily hold all the yarn for a specific, larger project like a wrap-around shawl or afghan. With a few upgrades, this would be a 5 star bag.
