In safe mode booted to blank screen that said Safe mode Fortunately a friend of mine had a repair disk that actually worked and I was able to boot and fix the problem. Disk came with a note saying contact us for assistance before leaving a bad review. I did send them an email and never heard back. Asking Amazon for my money back.
