I read several reviews, and this sounded like it would help fix my boot problem. However, one review I read stated that the computer wouldnt run without the disc. This was true for me also; the computer wont run without the cd.

My friends H P computer had the blue screen of death and one thing it said was to insert dvd to repair. I bought this and it really worked. I had to try a couple of steps but It really worked and it partitioned his hard drive to save his memory. YEA I highly recommend this inexpensive way to try to rebook your computer rather than buying a new one. So Far so good. I did not need a factory pass code that they warned me about! Thank you!

I wont say this product doesnt work, I just couldnt get it to work for me; more buyers error than product error.

Emergency Disk no work at all . The program on the disk should start itself, but the program will not start at all and the disk in the drive will not start. Emergency disk must be emergency disk with no conditions! Program made clumsy.This disc is not suitable for all windows and computers.

My 2014 Dell Inspiron laptop crashed while I was converting a video file. The computers self-diagnostic tool and reboot modes didnt work. This disk did work, so I was able to find my user profile and transfer all my files to a portable hard drive. I highly recommend this product, obviously.

If you know what’s going on this disk is for you, if you don’t have a clue like me then this is what I got, put disk in and powered on and pressing f12 brought my boot menu up so I could boot from the disk. Once that was done fairly quickly I got Home Screen with several tiles you could choose from. I was stuck right there as I chose one and it said repair I pressed ok but nothing happened. So instead of fooling around and doing more damage I decided to let a IT guy check it out

Worked like a charm. Thought I had a software issue because windows showed an error screen every boot. This CD allowed me to boot and backup data, and ultimately fix the boot.
