Greater than one weekThey tell you not to use stuff bristles because it reduces your dependence on dentists. A stiff bristle like this will remove plaque 1000 times more efficiently than a medium bristle. I havent had a cleaning at a dentist in over 15 years. I did go in to get X-rays and a look over last year just to be safe though. Dentist told me it looked like I recently had my teeth cleaned
