> 3 dayIt was a good product for fighting games but it is not very durable. The D pad finally broke making it useless. It lasted almost a whole year but thankfully it was cheap, which is the only good thing about the controller.

> 3 dayLove this controller. It feels just like my original 6 button controller for my Genesis. This is a quality controller and they put a lot of attention in the details. Ive only been able to test it on my Nintendo Switch at the time of this review, but I have a Genesis Mini on preorder and am lucking forward to using it with that. My only complaint is I wish there was a way to map the buttons for it while using it on the Switch. x, y, b, and a all just mirror the commands on a normal pro controller or joy con and c and z are zl and zr. I have a lot of Genesis games on the Switch and it wouldve been nice to map the buttons to what they originally were on the Genesis.

> 3 dayThis controller is excellent with the exception of the Mode button, hidden on the right shoulder of the controller. Its way too easy to accidentally hit that while gripping the controller. Other than that, all the buttons are excellent, and the shape is classic. Definitely worth the purchase.

> 3 dayThis one is so true to the original - they even made the d-pad just as bad as it was on the original.

> 3 dayRetro-Bit really knocked this one out of the park. The controller feels just like the original sega 6 button. Works perfect with PC emulation. Cant wait to get my Sega Mini & play some games. Probably will buy a second one soon.

> 3 dayExcellent control pad for use with my PC emulators and the Genesis Mini when it is released. Feels just slightly heavier than the original control pad but all the buttons feel very nice. Extra long cord is a nice feature. Very happy with purchase and will be using this pad regularly.

> 3 dayVery good 6 button pad for the Genesis mini and other systems that accept USB input. The dpad feels a little off compared to the official 3 button controllers dpad, but is still good, and the buttons feel good too. The weight is a little on the light side, but I think that was to be expected. I personally like the feel and size of the 3 button pad more, but having the extra buttons and a mode button for the mini is very convenient. The best thing about this controller is how long the cord is, longer than the controllers packed in the Genesis mini, so this is great if youre far from the console, and its a good enough controller your second player wont complain about.

> 3 dayIt goes back to when I purchased the Super Retro-Cade console, mainly because it contained a few games Id always wanted a licensed copy of for my collection. A budget emulator console with some flaws and limitations one of which is that it didnt work with a lot of popular controllers. So I took a gamble and got these. Comparing them to my actual vintage 6 button Sega Genesis controllers they are virtually indistinguishable (havent taken them apart to compare the guts) other than the cord. They feel great in your hands, especially if you had nostalgia for the ergonomic Sega style controllers (far superior to anything Nintendo had at the time, yes, even the SNES). The only downside of using these with the Retro-cade is that they dont seem to respond to re-configuring of the buttons. Of course you can use them on your PC which is how most will use them, for emulation. Some have complained about the floating d-pad of these controllers, but honestly it is the same as my vintage 6 button pads for Sega Genesis from the 1990s. I would personally always prefer to plug in my vintage controllers to a real vintage console (or retro console that uses cartridges and not emulation) on my crt tv, but when I am using the Retro-cade these I prefer to the ones that came with it (those hybrid sega/nintendo thingies). The lack of proper reconfiguration is a limitation of the console not the controller. The cord length is just right (many retro consoles get bashed on because they tend to be shorter than their North American counterparts, I guess because Japanese consoles tended to be smaller and had shorter cords I guess so you would be sitting closer to a smaller screen, thats my guess). I also was able to plug them into a USB multi-port hub (self powered) and they still worked.
