We got this for our teenager. When he uses it there is a distincitive reduction of body order. The issue its rather short life, it does not even last all day for the boy. For the average adult does last a bit longer. For teenager I suggest at least twice a day usage.

Since it was advertised that these didn’t stain clothing, I went ahead and tested it by rubbing it directly on a black shirt. The solid stick is a white color, so there were some white marks initially which are inevitable, but I simply rubbed it off and there was no stain. So it works! The scent is pleasant too, not overpowering at all. As far as longevity...there’s no chance you’re going to get 72 hours out of these. But I wore it for a red eye plane ride and it lasted the whole following day as well. The thing I like most about these is that even though it is a solid white stick, the deodorant doesn’t shed throughout the day...if you ever stand up from your office chair and see deodorant specks lying around, that won’t happen with this brand. Getting a four pack was great because I won’t be shopping for deodorant for some while now! I’m seriously considering switching my deodorant to this brand.

The first deodorant I ever used as a teenager, way back in the last century, was Right Guard, because everybody else was using it ... but long ago I moved onto a variety of other brands over the decades, some good, some not so good. Some stained my shirts, some didnt have staying power, some smelled great but allegedly had harmful chemicals in them. I couldnt find an ideal choice. I had completely forgotten about Right Guard, which seemed so yesterday, but once I tried this new version -- Xtreme Defense Antiperspirant Deodorant Invisible Solid Stick, Arctic Refresh -- I was sold. The best feature is its staying power. As an experiment, I applied the deodorant after a shower, went through my whole day, slept, got up and went through another day, including a workout, without showering. The Right Guard still had me smelling clean and fresh. Then, of course, I took a shower. I always look for a combo deodorant/antiperspirant so I dont have to worry about odor or wetness, and I look for a clean scent. Add that with the affordability of Right Guard, and you have a winner.

Let me start by saying Im a Right Guard fan. Ive been using it for years and it always keeps me dry and last long. Ive been having a hard time finding the Active scent so I thought Id try the Arctic scent and see if thats a good replacement. Man! I was smelling it so strong all day. It was too much. Even that night when I went to bed, it was waking me up. I read the reviews of others and they said it was a light sent but that was not my experience at all.

This Xtreme version of Right Guard works very well for me. It lasts all day, even in hot weather. I also like how it applies without staining clothing like some of the maximum strength deodorants. Unfortunately, the scent is not great and a little too strong. It basically just smells like a cheap generic musky cologne. If you can live with that and like your antiperspirant strong, then this is a good choice.
