This keyboard the color scheme I though online was alot brighter, but it turned out to be alot more muted and neutral colored which I actually enjoy. Feels like an old school look but they have that dark blue/ black and white selection if this isnt your color scheme. This keyboard feautres BT/2.4Ghz/Wired, all worked correctly, no issues at all. I do like that the connection options are on a dial or at least on the front as with their 1800 keyboard to switch between 2.4Ghz and BT, you had to flip over the keyboard and flip a little switch. This would be asking for alot, but to program the keyboard with the Fn and certain keys to swap modes instead and have a volume knob would be amazing. Sublegends/labels for the functions is a nice touch to see. Plenty of RGB modes for you to choose between. The battery display I love how they implemented it as usually I only see a color scale between green to red to identify if you need to charge it but here you get a whole row to show they battery level. The gasket mount design was very interesting to see at this price point. This allows flex when you type in the keyboard so if you type hard/bottom out alot, this will less the pressure youll get back on your hands when you type. You wont see too much flex but it is better than tray mounted. For stabilizers are pretty good except the space bar which is a bit sharp (presumably the wire isnt lubed correctly or its not balanced). They would be easy to modify though if you needed as theyre plate mounted stabilizers. Subjectively, the switches in this keyboard are rather scratchy, but they do pretty good if you want to go the extra mile and lube them or swap the switches out. The keycaps arent the best Ive had, but they are higher quality keycaps in my opinion. Overall, this is great keyboard for those that want a more compact keyboad but dont want to compromise everything to have more space on your desk. Id recommend this to anyone looking for a smaller keyboard but dont want to break the bank. To my knowledge though, people still dont want to spend almost a 100 dollars on a keyboard when you have super cheap membrane keyboards. But you do pay for what you get.

My original review I stated this board was fantastic. Great stabilizers and switches included. The keycaps are thick and double shot, which is a step up from most dye sub pbt keycaps on Amazon. The wireless dongle connected instantly, and then the issue happened. I was charging the board, and had it Off for wired mode. PC wouldnt recognize it. Windows kept saying the board malfunctioned. I tried troubleshooting the board in windows settings and still nothing. Tried different usb c cables and still nothing. I have a Gamakay board I took the battery out of and only use it wired and Windows never has this cant recognize issue. Had to return it. Otherwise, the board is still solid if you dont have this issue.

The keyboard looks fantastic. It has a greyish base with an interesting retro shape -- which is very reminisisent of older computers. The base is plastic, but feels well made. The knob on the top right also has a cool retro look. The keycaps are a mix of a dark steely grey, white and grey. The keycaps have the function legends on the bottom of the keycaps which makes them look clean. The keycaps arent shine through, but look real good. No additional vanity keycaps though. This is my first experience with RKs own switches. They arent bad at all. They type, sound and feel good. It has a real good sound without any mods. The gasket mounted plate seems to make a big difference too. I dont hear much rattling and no springy sound with the space bar. The 75% keyboards usually have all the important keys while keeping it compact. Though the layout is a bit weird. Theres a pause key but no dedicated home key. And the home and end keys that are provided via the Fn button are oddly far away from each other. Feel like they should have made home and end dedicated keys and removed Pause. Couldnt find a way to remap the keys. Both Bluetooth and the 2.4 modes work on my Mac Book -- I dont notice any delay or lag when doing basic typing tasks. The 2.4 adapter also has its own dedicated slot under the keyboard for safe keeping which is wonderful. The slot if magnetic. No worries about losing the adapter. Other things to notice it has an extra usb slot that can be used as a hub, and it comes with some extra switches. Noticing something the keyboard isnt responsive when using the wired mode and I need to plug and unplug the cable. I had it happen a few times, and not sure whats causing it. Ive also had the keyboard lag-a-bit and then get stuck pressing a key. Again reseating the cable fixed this. These issues seem to be rare, but thought Id point it out.

This is now my daily use keyboard for work and fun. The dial for selection of devices is nice and tactile, it wont turn on if you dont want it to and softly snaps into place for each mode. The software is nice as it lets you change colors for all modes, as well as the sleep settings (this works over 2.4 and Wired, I have not tested BT with software changes) The battery life seems really good as well. USB dongle is magnetically kept on the back of the keyboard if not used. The sleep settings work well, and you dont lose your first keystroke when it wakes up from sleep. It has two leveling feet levels, which is nice since sometimes I want it a bit less angled for work, but more angled when playing games. It sounds good out of the box. There isnt any gasket movement, and if I didnt know it was in there, I would guess it wasnt in there, as it is very stiff, but it is helping the sound for sure. My issues with this are the switches, and the charging indicator. The switches (SkyCyan) are weird. They feel like a progressive Yellow switch. They are light for the first ,5mm of travel, then are a bit stiffer to actuation, and then to about the same weight as a yellow for bottom out. The light initial travel makes them feel a little mushy sometimes. Im looking to see what I want to swap with, but the ones it came with are workable for the time being. Just not my style of switch. Id never tried these before this keyboard. My other gripe is the charging light. If you have the keyboard plugged into USB power, and the keyboard goes to sleep, the indicator goes out as well. You wont know if it is done charging until you go to type again. If the keyboard is plugged in, Id like to see this light be lit regardless if the keyboard is sleeping since its plugged in. It really is a minor thing, but something I did notice. Other than the two things, one being subjective, I really do like this keyboard a lot. Ive been using it for work and play and have had no issues with either.

Just a disclaimer, this is my first mechanical keyboard. This thing feels solid and types so smoothly, input for gaming is instant. I am using it in wired mode which would be best for gaming but if you want you can use Bluetooth or wireless connectivity for 3 devices. Just turn the knob to the number and it swaps over. The lighting is amazing, especially since I was using a single colored full size board before. Lots of modes and you can change between single colors and rgb. Ill update if I have any issues but so far this is close to perfect. The space bar is louder than the other keys so I might look into an insert to dampen sound but thats it.

For 80$, this retro looking keyboard is a steal! It has a good sound tempering, budget switches, hot-swap 3/5 pin board and double-shot cherry pbt keycaps! Out of box sound is amazing. Pretty decent wireless connectivity (BT + 2.4G) with good battery life. I only didnt like mode changing knob. It could be moved to the under of the keyboard and they could add volume knob instead of it.

I love this keyboard. SO. MUCH. And for that price..... Whats not to love?! Its such good quality. Especially if you are just looking for a keyboard base. I have changed the caps & switches on this one 3 times already. The keyboard is amazing without any modifications. The led lights are bright & have no issues. If you like clicky keys you will like this keyboard. I feel like I got the same quality keyboard as a fancy $150-$300 keyboard.

Coming strictly from mechanical gaming keyboards, this is a breath of fresh air. I wasnt too sure about the switches (used to cherry reds) but after a few lines of text Im sold. This is my new primary keyboard. Pros: Feels very substantial for a plastic keyboard Very good typing experience Good response time 75%+ keyboard is a must as a Linux user Cons: RGB a little limited in fancier effect options compared to what Im used to No shine through keycaps and keycaps a little boring -though in theme with the board
